Nell'estate del 1963, la famiglia Houseman (composta da padre, madre e le due figlie) si reca in vacanza nelle Catskill Mountains, presso un villaggio turistico di proprietà dell'anziano Max Kellerman. La figlia minore e prediletta Frances "Baby" Houseman, di diciassette anni, aspira ad entrare al Mount Holyoke College per studiare economia con l'obiettivo di accedere ai Peace Corps. Nel corso della sua vacanza Frances conosce Johnny Castle, il quale insieme a Penny Johnson, lavora come maestro di ballo per gli ospiti dell'Hotel. Baby rimane affascinata e travolta dai ritmi del ballo e comincia a frequentare Johnny.
Nel frattempo Penny, una volta scoperto di essere rimasta incinta da Robbie (il cameriere degli Houseman), decide di abortire rischiando però la vita: è il padre di Baby a salvarla e guarirla. Baby, "costretta" a sostituire la nuova amica nel duo di mambo, si esibisce in un numero speciale.

Trama

Sono passati quattro anni da quando Winter è stata salvata e rimessa in sesto grazie alla protesi di coda. A un certo punto un'altra delfina di nome Panama, che sta nella stessa vasca di Winter e che per Winter è quasi una madre adottiva, muore di vecchiaia. Winter incomincia quindi ad essere svogliata e scorbutica con gli addetti dell'ospedale marino, che pensano che l'unica soluzione sia trovarle una nuova compagna. L'occasione propizia è l'arrivo all'ospedale di una delfina molto piccola che non ha potuto imparare a catturare i pesci in mare aperto a causa della morte della madre, e che perciò dovrà vivere sempre all'ospedale. La delfina viene chiamata Hope e, dopo la riabilitazione, viene introdotta nella vasca di Winter: le due delfine si accettano al secondo tentativo (al primo Hope era rimasta spaventata dal fatto che Winter non aveva la coda, allora le avevano installato una nuova coda protesica), evitando quindi che Winter venisse trasferita in un acquario in Texas, cosa che sarebbe successa se la situazione non fosse migliorata. La vasca della delfina viene quindi riaperta al pubblico.

Trama:

A Parigi, Diana Prince riceve da Bruce Wayne la foto originale di cui Luthor aveva una copia digitale; nel biglietto egli chiede se un giorno le racconterà la storia dietro alla foto. Nell'antichità Zeus creò l'uomo affinché rispettasse e pregasse gli dei; però Ares, figlio di Zeus e dio della guerra, instillò sentimenti negativi nell'umanità che avviarono conflitti e divisioni tra i popoli; per rimediare Zeus creò le Amazzoni, donne capaci di combattere ma anche di vivere pacificamente, e le mandò presso l'umanità per insegnare la pace e l'armonia. Ares fu talmente furioso che uccise gli altri dei; Zeus, rimasto solo, sconfisse alla fine il figlio ribelle, ma non poté ucciderlo; così lasciò alle Amazzoni due doni prima di morire: l'isola di Themyscira, dove le donne guerriere vivono in pace nascoste dal mondo e un'arma capace di uccidere Ares se e quando fosse mai tornato. Tempo dopo la piccola principessa Diana, figlia della regina Ippolita, sovrana delle Amazzoni, vive con le sue sorelle su Themyscira desiderando ardentemente di diventare forte come loro, ma la madre rifiuta costantemente i desideri della bambina, che viene addestrata di nascosto da Antiope, sorella di Ippolita e condottiera dell'esercito...

A few years ago I attended a gig from this Ange world-tour near my hometown The Hague in Holland. It was the first time I saw them on stage, what an impressive performance and what a powerful and exciting, modern sound Ange delivered that memorable night! Their legendary frontman Christian Decamps has a great, very expressive voice and his stage antics are humorous and often dramatic. He is accompanied by female singer Caroline Crozat who often joins Christian on vocals and with his theatrical acts. The lightshow is wonderful and the band sounds outstanding: the ryhthm-section plays creative and dynamic, the keyboards by Christian his son Tristan sound varied and tasteful (moving solo spot in Le Bal Des Laze on keyboards and vocals, he's obvious a son of his father!) and guitarist Hassan Hadji does an excellent job delivering lots of fiery and distorted soli, what a killer guitarplayer this is! The track list contains early and new work: the climates on the 17 songs are very alternating, from emotional ballads or bluesy to rock and heavy bombastic. My highlights on this DVD are the jazzy flamenco guitar improvisation and the dancing from Caroline in Autour Du Feu, Caroline with a white sheet around her, accompanied by howling electric guitar and soaring strings in Atlantis - Les Géants De La Troisième Lune, a Middle Eastern inspired atmosphere with a duel between theatrical vocals from Tristan and rocking electric guitar in Quasimodo and a catchy rhythm with powerful duo-vocals and biting electric guitar in the final track Docteur Man. If you like Ange, Christian Decamps solo or adventurous progrock, this DVD is a must!
