America anni Trenta: Tom Joad esce di prigione - aveva ucciso un uomo in una rissa - e trova tutti in una miseria nera. La grande depressione ha coinvolto tutto il paese. Non c'è lavoro, non c'è nemmeno cibo, persino la terra è diventata arida, dove prima non lo era. Con tutta la sua famiglia, decide di partire verso l'ovest, dove, si dice, c'è lavoro e ci sono terre fertili. Caricato un vecchio camion di tutto ciò che possiede, la famiglia comincia il viaggio. Lungo la strada incontra scioperi, bidonvilles, violenza e sistematica, crudele mancanza di lavoro. Muoiono i nonni, i Joad vengono accolti in un villaggio, lavorano sì, ma con paghe da fame. Quando Tom assiste all'uccisione di un suo amico da parte di un poliziotto, colpisce l'agente e, senza volerlo, lo uccide a sua volta. Da quel momento dovrà fuggire. Ma Tom crede ancora che un giorno le cose potranno andar meglio. Lo dice a sua madre, salutandola prima di partire: "Dovunque si lotterà per sfamare gente io ci sarò". Un altro film senza il quale il cinema non sarebbe il cinema. Tratto dal romanzo di John Steinbeck viene portato sullo schermo da un regista di pari grandezza e prestigio. Il film è rigorosissimo culturalmente e formalmente: sembra di guardare le vecchie foto dell'epoca. Il regista ha puntato sul particolare, sui piccoli discorsi di miseria visibile, lasciando che i grandi temi ne venissero di conseguenza. Il cinema accoglie nel suo mito alcune situazioni tanto forti e perfette da non essere ripetibili, come la sepoltura del vecchio nonno, oppure l'immagine del camion-casa nelle strade delle infinite pianure, il ballo di Fonda con la madre (Darwell, premio Oscar), o la scena finale di Tom che percorre la collina andandosene, mentre il sole sta nascendo. Furore non è un documento del cinema, è un documento generale di storia. Con questo film Ford vinse l'Oscar e si pose come uno dei massimi autori assoluti. Quando una certa critica ha tacciato, durante la sua lunga e articolata attività, il regista di faziosità, manicheismo, persino fascismo, sarebbe bastato ricordare Furore, grandissimo manifesto populista. Ford non era fascista e non era comunista, stava dalla parte di quella che riteneva la giustizia, si fidava del proprio buon senso e giudizio. La sua apparente semplicità era ricchezza. Anche adesso il suo mondo è condivisibile e non è mai lontano

Mattie Ross, una giovane donna proprietaria di una fattoria, assolda Rooster Cogburn, un anziano sceriffo detto "il Grinta", per catturare un fuorilegge, Tom Chaney, che le ha ucciso il padre. Mattie e "il Grinta" si mettono in viaggio verso la zona montagnosa nella quale presumibilmente il bandito ha trovato rifugio. Ben presto si unisce a loro La Boeuf, un giovane agente governativo, anche egli alla ricerca dello stesso uomo. Nel corso del viaggio, l'armonia del terzetto è frequentemente scossa dalla forte personalità dei tre componenti, ognuno dei quali tende a far prevalere la propria opinione su quella degli altri.

Ma Camtasia Studio offre ancora di più: potrai inserire titoli, effetti di transizione, aggiungere commenti audio e addirittura il suono dei tasti quando digiti. Se nel gestire o editare il tuo video incontrerai difficoltà, clicca sulla voce "Assist me" e una guida si aprirà nel capitolo relativo alla funzione che stai utilizzando. Peccato che tale guida, come tutto il programma, sia in lingua inglese.
