Trama

Vole, un gentiluomo inglese, è accusato di aver assassinato una ricca vedova. Il testamento dell'uccisa, steso pochi giorni prima della sua morte, nomina erede di una notevole fetta di patrimonio proprio il presunto assassino. La situazione di Vole è resa ancora più delicata dall'atteggiamento ambiguo di sua moglie Christine, una donna tedesca che Vole ha incontrato ad Amburgo e ha sposato durante l'ultima guerra. Il caso di Vole interessa vivamente un celebre avvocato, sir Wilfred Roberts, che, convinto dell'innocenza dell'imputato, malgrado la sua età non più giovane e le sue precarle condizioni di salute, ne assume la difesa. Durante il processo, sir Roberts riesce ad invalidare ogni accusa, ma la deposizione di Christine, chiamata a testimoniare dall'accusa, toglie ogni validità all'alibi prodotto da Vole.

Travelers S01e04 (2016) [WebMux720p Ita-Eng][A.C.U.M.]

Plot :

A team of special operatives, sent back in time from the future, are tasked with preventing the collapse of society. These operatives, known as travelers, enter the body of a 21st century individual moments before the individual's "recorded time of death". This process is referred to as a "transfer of consciousness" and cannot be used to transmit someone farther back than the 21st century. The recorded time of death is accurate to the second because of smart phones, computers, GPS, cameras, social media, and other digital pillars of the 21st century. These devices also provide knowledge of the individual who will be dying, which helps the traveler prepare for the life they will inhabit.

Without proper computing power and the back channels of the internet, the travelers would not have an accurate time of death to successfully occupy bodies moments before death. For example, the travelers cannot stop World War II, because the technology of the 1940s did not provide sufficient data to determine the exact time of recorded death, thus preventing the possession of hosts by a traveler.

The travelers must maintain their hosts' pre-existing lives to avoid attracting attention while performing missions aimed at saving the world from a series of catastrophic events. As the series progresses, changes in the present make significantly unanticipated changes in the future.

Trama

Ambientato nel 1837, il film narra le avventure del buffo corsaro Capitan Pirata (alla perenne ricerca del massimo riconoscimento in campo piratesco; il premio pirata dell'anno) e della sua squinternata ciurma, pronta a seguirlo in capo al mondo. Nel tentativo di aggiudicarsi finalmente l'ambito premio, che verrà consegnato al pirata che avrà all'attivo più saccheggi e ricchezze trafugate, Capitan Pirata e i suoi uomini si imbatteranno nella nave d'esplorazione di Charles Darwin, intento a girare continenti alla ricerca di specie animali sconosciute per conto della regina Vittoria.
L'incontro con Darwin cambierà le sorti di Capitan Pirata, in quanto Polly (il pennuto che Capitan Pirata credeva essere un pappagallo appesantito, ed a cui tutta la ciurma è molto legata), altro non è che un Dodo, un volatile già allora creduto estinto, Darwin, con la promessa di un sostanzioso premio, convince Capitan Pirata a recarsi a Londra per presentare Polly ad un concorso scientifico. Capitan Pirata, incurante della tolleranza zero attuata all'epoca dalla regina Vittoria nei confronti dei pirati, trascinerà la sua ciurma in questa pericolosa ma esaltante avventura

Spectral è un nuovo ed interessante film d’azione prodotto da Netflix e da Legendary Pictures, Casa di produzione famosa per Batman, Inception e tanti altri blockbuster.
Senza svelare troppi dettagli sulla trama, in questo film DARPA e Delta Force dovranno affrontare una misteriosa forza spettrale, un nemico incorporeo da combattere con armi di nuova concezione. Girato in Ungheria, Spectral è un lungometraggio che si avvale, per gli effetti speciali, della collaborazione della Weta di Peter Jackson.Questo mix di Ghostbusters e Black Hawk Down è in arrivo nei cinema americani e contemporaneamente su Netflix il 9 dicembre, anche nel nostro Paese.

An alcoholic man lives in a perpetual stupor while his six children with whom he lives cope as best they can.

Tutto e’ lecito in amore e in guerra….e anche per la famiglia Gallagher.
Quando Frank (William H. Macy) si sveglia dal coma e scopre che i suoi cari lo hanno allontanato, dichiara guerra alla sua stessa famiglia.

Ma Fiona (Emmy Rossum) - la star indiscussa della settima stagione – questa volta non ci sta. Deve mettere ordine nella propria vita: ha finalmente preso consapevolezza delle sue capacità e sembra determinata a riprendersi tutto ciò che la vita le ha negato fin’ora.
Lip (Jeremy Allen White) termina il periodo di riabilitazione, ma la sua visione del futuro e’ sempre piu’ cupa mentre Debbie (Emma Kenney) sta finalmente trovando la sua dimensione di giovane donna alle prese con la maternità e fa di tutto per offrire una vita dignitosa alla figlia Franny puntando tutto sulla scaltrezza e l’intraprendenza, qualita’ ereditate dal padre.
Kev (Steve Howey), V (Shanola Hampton) e Svetlana (Isidora Goreshter) continuano il loro rapporto poligamo.
Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) deve prendere una decisione importante mentre Liam (Brenden Sims) e’ alla ricerca di un istituto che lo accolga.
Ian (Cameron Monaghan), dopo un periodo di forte instabilita’, assume una nuovo atteggiamento nei confronti della vita. Propositivo, equilibrato, motivato, Ian si trasforma nel ragazzo dalle scelte giuste.

Ma l’assenza di Fiona e’ palpabile; per i Gallagher e’ sempre stata un punto di riferimento. Sapranno cavarsela senza di lei?

La nuova serie targata Cinemax ispirata ai romanzi di Max Allan Collins che sicuramente piacerà ai fan di Banshee – La città del male

Creata da Graham Gordy e Michael D. Fuller e diretta da Greg Yaitanes (già regista della sopracitata Banshee), Quarry – Pagato per uccidere è tratta dai romanzi di Max Allan Collins. Racconta la storia di Mac Conway (Logan Marshall-Green), un marine che dopo aver servito in Vietnam finalmente torna a casa a Memphis nel 1972, ma che viene accolto in modo molto duro non solo dall’opinione pubblica, ma anche dalla sua famiglia. Un incubo dopo l’incubo, per lui e per l’amico e collega Arthur (Jamie Hector).

I due vengono accolti a braccia aperte dalle rispettive mogli Joni (Jodi Balfour) e Ruth (Nikki Amuka-Bird) e, nel caso di Arthur, dai figli, ma il resto della società li considera due assassini a causa del loro coinvolgimento in una strage ai danni della popolazione civile vietnamita. Il clima, insomma, è molto teso.

Mentre Mac fatica a trovare un impiego, Arthur ha un lavoro che definire sfruttamento sarebbe riduttivo, e così si lascia tentare dalla proposta di un misterioso intermediario che si fa chiamare “Il Broker”. Lo stesso uomo che un paio di notti prima ha cercato di reclutare anche Mac, senza successo. In cosa consiste la proposta? Semplice: fare un sacco di soldi diventando killer su commissione.

Per aiutare Arthur, Mac rimane coinvolto suo malgrado in una rete di omicidi ed esecuzioni che si snoda lungo il corso del Mississipi, in un’infinita spirale di violenza da cui sembra impossibile uscire e che andrà a influire pesantemente su di lui e sul suo rapporto con Joni.
