Black Lightning è la serie che si basa sul personaggio DC Comics "Fulmine Nero" e narra la storia dell'omonimo supereroe. Jefferson Pierce era il protettore Freeland, ma per mantenere l'equilibrio nella sua famiglia e visti i rischi in cui si imbatteva vestendo i panni del Fulmine Nero, ha abbandonato la sua attività di vigilante. Ora lavora come preside in un noto liceo, nel quale i ragazzi delle comunità più povere hanno l'occasione di riscattarsi e farsi una vita. In città però sono arrivati i The Hundred, una gang criminale molto pericolosa, e le autorità perdono il controllo. Molti cittadini invocano un aiuto che non arriva, così il Fulmine Nero sarà costretto a tornare per risolvere la situazione.

The crew of a naval destroyer is forced to confront the reality of a new existence when a pandemic kills off most of the earth's population.

A seguito di una pandemia globale che ha quasi sterminato la razza umana, l'equipaggio del cacciatorpediniere USS Nathan James, della Marina degli Stati Uniti, cercherà di trovare le cause del virus e una possibile cura. A capo dell’equipaggio troviamo il comandante Tom Chandler (Eric Dane), aiutato dal suo secondo in comando Mike Slattery (Adam Baldwin) e dalla biologa Rachel Scott (Rhona Mitra), la quale è riuscita a trovare il ceppo primordiale del virus e sviluppare una cura alla fine della prima stagione.
Facciamo un salto in avanti di un bel po ‘di tempo. La quarta stagione si è conclusa nel migliore dei modi.
Il capitano Tom Chandler (Eric Dane) è tornato sulla Nathan James ed ha aiutato Slattery e gli altri a salvare il mondo dall’ennesima minaccia. La Nathan James è pronta alla sua prossima avventura.
Dalla quinta stagione la Nathan James non è più sola a solcare i mari. Vediamo infatti Kara (Marissa Neitling) comunicare felicemente via radio che lei e il resto della crew sono felici di non essere più i soli. A risponderle, tra gli altri, c’è anche Andrea (Fay Masterson). Vediamo anche Tom Chandler insegnare a una nuova generazione cosa ha rappresentato per il mondo il virus prima e la carestia poi. Un cyber attacco mette in ginocchio gli States, riportando Tom Chandler nuovamente al timone della missione per salvare il mondo. I responsabili sono, stavolta, i messicani.

"The Last Ship" è una serie televisiva statunitense del 2014 creata da Hank Steinberg e Steven Kane e prodotta, tra gli altri, da Michael Bay. La serie si basa sull'omonimo romanzo del 1988 di William Brinkley.
Nel cast troviamo anche: Charles Parnell (Comandante Hugh Jefer), Travis Van Winkle (Tenente Danny Green), Bridget Regan (Sasha, una vecchia conoscenza di Tom Chandler) e Christina Elmoren (Tenente Alisha Granders). Nella quinta stagione diventano fissi anche Emerson Brooks nel ruolo del Comandante Joseph Meylan e Jodie Turner-Smith che interpreta Azima Kandie.

Leaving Neverland è un film documentario per la televisione del 2019 diretto e prodotto dal regista britannico Dan Reed.

Il documentario è incentrato sulle accuse mosse da Wade Robson e James Safechuck verso il cantante Michael Jackson di avere abusato sessualmente di loro quando erano dei bambini, sebbene non ci siano prove ufficiali degli abusi da parte di Jackson; inoltre, vengono presi in esame gli effetti che i presunti abusi hanno avuto sulle loro vite da adulti e sulle loro famiglie. Il titolo si riferisce al Neverland Ranch, residenza californiana di Jackson, dove parte degli abusi avrebbero avuto luogo.

Il film è stato presentato in anteprima al Sundance Film Festival 2019, venendo poi trasmesso in televisione in due parti dalle emittenti HBO e Channel Four. Il documentario ha suscitato scalpore in tutto il mondo e numerose polemiche tra innocentisti e colpevolisti, rianimando il dibattito sull'eredità artistica e umana di Jackson.

Nel documentario, Wade Robson, James Safechuck, e le rispettive famiglie descrivono i loro rapporti con Jackson. Safechuck e Robson accusano il cantante di aver abusato sessualmente di loro quando erano bambini nella sua residenza, il Neverland Ranch, California, e nell'appartamento della popstar a Century City, California.

Reed ha descritto il documentario come «un dettagliato studio di quattro ore sulla psicologia dell'abuso sessuale su minori, narrato attraverso la storia di due famiglie normali raggirate per oltre 20 anni da un pedofilo mascherato da amico fidato».

Hitomi è in grado di leggere i tarocchi e possiede un ciondolo avente un periodo di oscillazione di un secondo esatto. Un giorno, durante una corsa, un misterioso ragazzo compare in una colonna di luce; insieme a lui giunge un drago, con cui ingaggia un combattimento. Conclusa la battaglia, Hitomi si ritrova risucchiata da una nuova colonna di luce, ritrovandosi in un misterioso mondo nel cui cielo si stagliano la Luna e la Terra: Gaea. Hitomi si unirà al misterioso ragazzo, Van Slanzar De Fanel, principe ereditario del piccolo regno di Fanelia, finendo ben presto coinvolta in una tremenda guerra totale che rischia di mettere in ginocchio l'intero pianeta di Gaea.

Il film racconta alcune novelle del Boccaccio, cui fanno da legame, nella prima parte, la storia di Ser Cepperello che, ingannando un prete con una falsa confessione, si vede trasformato in Ser Ciappelletto e adorato come santo, nella seconda, un pittore impegnato in un affresco, Andreuccio, si fa derubare di tutti i suoi soldi da una giovane che si finge sua sorellastra, per poi ritrovare la fortuna spogliando dei suoi gioielli la salma di un vescovo.

The film recounts some novellas by Boccaccio, which are linked, in the first part, with the story of Ser Cepperello who, deceiving a priest with a false confession, is transformed into Ser Ciappelletto and adored as a saint, in the second, a painter engaged in a fresco, Andreuccio, is robbed of all his money by a young woman who pretends to be her half-sister, and then regains her fortune by stripping the body of a bishop of her jewels.

Starting from the story of Nur-el-Din and the beautiful slave Zumurrud, whom he loses, seeks and finally finds again, the film tells of two young men who attract children and young girls, make them pair to find out which of them you love most; therefore Aziz is forced to suffer the evasion for having betrayed the woman for whom he had abandoned his girlfriend; Tagi manages to make a princess fall in love with herself to the point of causing her to kill her father; two princes, after bloody events, become bonzes.

It is the story of a Sicilian fishermen family, exploited in their misery by wholesalers. I decided to fight against oppression, they mortgaged the house to buy a boat and work on their own. But the elements are also adverse; on a stormy night, the boat is ruined. When the house is lost, the family disintegrates; I feel like reducing work, suffering, without hope, what seems to be an inevitable destiny.

He approaches her and, having tried to comfort her, offering his help, is first shocked, then fascinated by the behavior of the young woman, now dark and anguished, now cheerful and almost childish. He wants to see her again and gets an appointment for her the next evening.
