Karnataka were formed in 1997 by founding members, Ian Jones (bass/acoustic guitar), Jonathan Edwards (keyboards) and Rachel Jones (vocals). The band started as a project to record songs in Ian's home studio, that had been written and performed by Jonathan, Rachel and Ian in earlier bands. The project was augmented by additional musicians, Paul Davies (electric guitars) and Gavin Griffiths (drums), who had played with other members of Karnataka in earlier bands. At the end of the recording the decision was made to continue the project as a band. The name Karnataka was chosen by the band, from a suggestion by Ian, following his trips to that region of India.

The band filmed and recorded their show at The Met Theatre in Bury on the New Light Tour. The show was enhanced by stunning lights and lasers Filming was in High Definition. The live DVD and album is set for release in 2012. The band are due to announce an extensive tour to take place later in 2012.

"New Light" was filmed in Hi-Definition video on the band's New Light Tour 2012.

The DVD and Blu-Ray both feature 5.1 surround sound and stereo mixes. Extras include exclusive interviews with the band and a tour image gallery.
Both formats are also Region free.

Trama:

 Claire Shannon è una ragazza di diciassette anni timida e introversa e per questo vittima di bullismo da parte di alcuni coetanei. Segnata profondamente dalla perdita della madre, ha un padre ossessivo e il ragazzo di cui è innamorata non la degna di uno sguardo. La sua vita cambierà radicalmente quando riceverà in regalo un vecchio carillon sul quale è inciso un messaggio. La scatola magica è in grado di far avverare sette desideri a chi la possiede. Sedotta dai poteri del misterioso oggetto, Claire inizierà ad esprimere i desideri che le sono concessi incurante delle terribili conseguenze che ne deriveranno.

This superb set pulls together material from Jethro Tull concerts across their career and filmed at some of their many stopovers around the globe. It reaches back as far as the legendary Isle Of Wight Festival in 1970 and as recently as the Estival in Lugano, Switzerland in 2005. Much of the material is previously unreleased. The set is packaged in a 19cm x 14cm 32 page hardback book with 2 discs in each inside cover. The book contains photos from Ian Anderson s personal archive and a text on all the different shows by Joel McIver. Around The World Live charts Jethro Tull s ever evolving music through blues to rock to folk to electronica with a frequently changing line-up anchored by the ever present frontman Ian Anderson.

Trama

Il vento fischia in una strada residenziale e quieta in un modesto sobborgo di Buenos Aires. Sta diventando scuro. Un lampo illumina una macchina parcheggiata alla fine della strada, il cofano è aperto. Due uomini sono curvi sul motore, un terzo siede al volante. Un autobus si ferma e un uomo in un cappotto pesante scende. Improvvisamente uno degli uomini vicino al cofano colpisce l'uomo col cappotto e lo getta nella macchina con violenza. I rapitori fuggono. Ma non sono criminali comuni. Sono agenti addestrati del Mossad e questo è il culmine di un'operazione segreta durata tre anni. Hanno appena catturato Adolf Eichmann, il principale architetto della Soluzione Finale di Hitler.

Karl Adolf Eichmann nato a Solingen, il 19 marzo 1906, è stato un militare tedesco, col grado di SS-Obersturmbannführer era responsabile di una sezione del RSHA. Esperto di questioni ebraiche, nel corso della cosiddetta "soluzione finale" organizzò il traffico ferroviario che trasportava gli ebrei ai vari campi di concentramento. Criminale di guerra, sfuggito al processo di Norimberga, si rifugiò in Argentina. Lì verrà rintracciato dal Mossad, catturato, condotto in Israele e condannato a morte. Sarà il primo dei criminali nazisti fuggiti ad essere condannato in Israele. Morirà il 31 maggio del 1962 a Ramla.
