NCIS - Unit? anticrimine (NCIS) è una serie televisiva statunitense di genere poliziesco creata da Donald P. Bellisario e trasmessa dal 23 settembre 2003 dal network CBS.
Nata come spin-off di JAG - Avvocati in divisa, la serie ha come protagonista la principale squadra di agenti speciali del Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), un dipartimento della Marina Militare degli Stati Uniti che si occupa di ogni caso criminale od investigativo che coinvolga membri del corpo militare stesso. Nel 2009 la serie ha a sua volta generato un suo spin-off, NCIS: Los Angeles.
A partire dalla stagione televisiva 2009-2010, NCIS si è affermata come la serie televisiva più vista negli Stati Uniti. Secondo un sondaggio condotto nel 2011 dalla Harris Interactive, NCIS è lo "show televisivo preferito di tutti i tempi" dal pubblico statunitense.
In Italia la serie è trasmessa dal 10 gennaio 2005 da Rai 2.

TRAMA
La serie segue le vicende della principale squadra di agenti speciali dell'agenzia federale Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), denominata «Major Case Response Team» (MCRT), con sede al Washington Navy Yard di Washington. L'NCIS si occupa dei reati più gravi che vedono coinvolti membri o persone legate alla marina degli Stati Uniti o al corpo dei Marines. Il Major Case Response Team, in particolare, si occupa dei casi più difficili e delicati, quali ad esempio l'omicidio di uomini vicini al Presidente, morti di celebrit? all'interno di basi della marina, minacce terroristiche e rapimenti.
Il MCRT è guidata dall'agente speciale supervisore Leroy Jethro Gibbs ed è composta dall'agente speciale Anthony "Tony" DiNozzo, dall'agente speciale Timothy McGee e dall'agente speciale Ziva David, inizialmente aggregata alla squadra come agente di collegamento con il Mossad, che ha sostituito a partire dalla terza stagione l'agente Caitlin "Kate" Todd, rimasta uccisa in servizio al termine della seconda stagione. Nelle sue indagini, la squadra è assistita dal medico legale Donald "Ducky" Mallard, dal suo assistente Jimmy Palmer, che ha rimpiazzato Gerald Jackson durante la prima stagione, e dall'analista forense Abigail "Abby" Sciuto.
Al vertice dell'agenzia federale, vi è il direttore Leon Vance, che ha sostituito dalla quinta stagione il direttore Jennifer Shepard, rimasta uccisa in missione. Fino alla terza stagione l'agenzia era guidata da Tom Morrow.

Sei mesi dopo l'incoronazione di Ben, la vita sembra trascorrere bene ad Auradon. Tranne per Mal che sente troppo la pressione per il suo nuovo ruolo da futura regina di Ben e la vita di corte. Sull'isola degli Sperduti le cose non vanno meglio, dato che Uma, la figlia di Ursula, prova molto rancore nei confronti di Mal, Evie, Carlos e Jay per averli traditi ed essere diventati buoni.

Intanto ad Auradon iniziano i preparativi per il gran ballo reale che si terrà tra tre giorni e, dopo aver regalato uno scooter a Mal, Ben ha una burrascosa lite con quest'ultima. Mal, sentendosi inadeguata a quel regno, parte con il suo scooter e torna sull'Isola Degli Sperduti.

Sull'Isola, Mal si dirige da Geffy, la figlia di Genoveffa, che, insieme a sua nonna Lady Tremaine, gestisce un negozio di parrucchiere che le ricolora i capelli di viola.

Ben scopre la fuga di Mal e, con l'aiuto di Evie, Carlos e Jay, sbarca sull'Isola dove trova Mal. La ragazza rifiuta di andarsene e restituisce a Ben il suo anello, ma basta una minima distrazione di Evie, Carlos e Jay che Ben viene catturato dalla ciurma di Uma e legato sul suo vascello.

Mal, saputa la notizia, si dirige nel locale di Ursula e stringe un accordo con Uma: se Mal le porterà la bacchetta magica della Fata Smemorina, lei libererà Ben.

Così Mal decide di tendere a Uma una trappola e, grazie alla stampante 3D di Carlos, crea una falsa bacchetta con la quale la inganna. Ma, quando quest'ultima le chiede di provarla, Mal fa parlare Rudy, il cagnolino di Carlos (che era già sotto influenza di un incantesimo sempre preparato da Mal) così liberano Ben e ingannano Uma.

In vacanza a Istambul con la fidanzata Susan, l'ingenuo giovane americano William Hayes, detto Billy, si lascia appioppare da un tassinaro due chili di hashish e si presenta all'aeroporto con la droga incollata al corpo. E' il 6 ottobre 1970. Ispezioni severe a causa di recenti attentati terroristici mettono il ragazzo nelle mani della polizia turca. Gli interventi del console statunitense Daniels, l'arrivo del signor Hayes in soccorso del figlio, le manovre del viscido avvocato Vesil, non impediscono né il processo né la condanna a 4 anni e due mesi nel carcere turco di Sagmacilar, diretto dal feroce Hamidou. Il ragazzo fa amicizia con il connazionale stravagante Jimmy, con lo svedese Erich e con l'allucinato albionico Max. L'ambiente, già terrificante per lo stato di abbandono, è ancor più terribile per la brutalità dei secondini e per la disumanità dei carcerati. L'irriducibile Jimmy tenta la fuga da solo; e male gliene incoglie. Una nuova strada verso la libertà viene intrapresa da Jimmy con la compagnia di Billy e di Max; ma un imprevisto li induce a desistere. Intanto Nixon irrita i Turchi, accusandoli di troppa permessività nei riguardi della droga. Il Pubblico Ministero, che già aveva chiesto l'ergastolo, ha buon gioco per indurre Ankara a impugnare la prima sentenza. Nel nuovo processo, Billy che ormai era a 53 giorni dalla scarcerazione viene condannato a 30 anni. Mentre si trova nel braccio manicomiale per avere aggredito il lercio detenuto-spia-commerciante Rifki, Billy riceve la visita di Susan, e un gruzzolo di dollari. L'involontario assassinio del direttore Hamidou che, in risposta a un tentativo di corruzione, lo picchia e minaccia di sodomizzarlo, apre uno spiraglio per la fuga. E' il 4 ottobre 1975.

Trama:

Eduardo 'Eddie' Deacon, un ex veterano dei servizi speciali che vive un momento di poca fortuna e di disperazione anche a causa della mancanza di lavoro, viene assunto come guardia di sicurezza di un centro commerciale in un quartiere poco sicuro della città. Durante la sua prima sera di lavoro, apre le porte a una giovane ragazza, scappata da un convoglio di polizia che la stava portando come testimone a un processo.
