Trama :

Kat Connors ha 17 anni quando la madre scompare. Avendo vissuto per tanto tempo in un clima di soffocamento e repressione emotiva, Kat considera quasi un sollievo la sua assenza e il padre, un uomo di poco polso, non può certo biasimarla. Con il trascorrere del tempo, però, Kat inizia a fare i conti con quanto la scomparsa pesi invece sulla sua esistenza e un giorno, rientrando a casa dal college, è costretta a confrontarsi con la verità che si cela dietro quell'improvvisa partenza. Infatti scopre che la madre tradiva il padre con Finn, ex di Kat e, all'epoca della sua adolescenza ancora fidanzato con lei. Zucchino non è un ortaggio ma un bambino (il cui vero nome era Icaro) che pensa di essersi ritrovato solo al mondo quando muore sua madre. Non sa che incontrerà dei nuovi amici nell'istituto per bambini abbandonati in cui viene accolto da Simon, Ahmed, Jujube, Alice e Béatrice. Hanno tutti delle storie di sofferenza alle spalle e possono essere sia scostanti che teneri. C'è poi Camille che in lui suscita un'attenzione diversa. Se si hanno dieci anni, degli amici e si scopre l'amore forse la vita può presentarsi in modo diverso rispetto alle attese.

Basato sul romanzo Autobiografia di una zucchina di Gilles Paris (poi rieditato con il titolo del film), rappresenta l'esordio di Barras nel lungometraggio ed è realizzato in animazione a passo uno. Il film è stato girato presso il Pôle Pixel di Villeurbanne al ritmo di trenta secondi al giorno, grazie a nove animatori che hanno lavorato simultaneamente su quindici set diversi.
Canditato all'Oscar come miglior film di animazione.

TRAMA
La banda dei ricercatori di Smetto quando voglio è tornata. Anzi, non è mai andata via. Se per sopravvivere Pietro Zinni e i suoi colleghi avevano lavorato alla creazione di una straordinaria droga legale diventando poi dei criminali, adesso in Smetto quando voglio 2 Masterclass è proprio la legge ad aver bisogno di loro. Sarà infatti l'ispettore Paola Coletti a chiedere al detenuto Zinni di rimettere su la banda, creando una task force al suo servizio che entri in azione e fermi il dilagare delle smart drugs. Agire nell'ombra per ottenere la fedina penale pulita: questo è il patto. Il neurobiologo, il chimico, l'economista, l'archeologo, l’antropologo e i latinisti si ritroveranno loro malgrado dall’altra parte della barricata, ma per portare a termine questa nuova missione dovranno rinforzarsi, riportando in Italia nuove reclute tra i tanti "cervelli in fuga" scappati all'estero. La banda criminale più colta di sempre si troverà ad affrontare molteplici imprevisti e nemici sempre più cattivi tra incidenti, inseguimenti, esplosioni, assalti e rocambolesche situazioni come al solito "stupefacenti".

Trama :

Austria 1768. Per suggellare l'alleanza tra Francia e Austria, l'imperatrice Maria Teresa offre in sposa la figlia, la quattordicenne arciduchessa Antoine, al Delfino di Francia Luigi Augusto, futuro Luigi XVI. Dopo la "consegna della sposa" presso Schuttern sul Reno nel 1770, nella quale Antoine viene spogliata di tutto ciò che rappresentava la sua vita austriaca, viene presentata ufficialmente al fidanzato Luigi Augusto, il ministro degli Affari Esteri Choiseul ed il resto della famiglia, divenendo così la Delfina di Francia Maria Antonietta.

Sotto lo scrutinio dell'intera corte, la Delfina si trasferisce nei suoi appartamenti a Versailles, dove inizia il suo difficile rapporto con l'aristocrazia, i costumi e l'etichetta francesi. Il suo matrimonio non consumato, e quindi l'apparente incapacità di Maria Antonietta di dare vita ad un erede, peggiorano la sua posizione all'interno della corte.

Per sfuggire ai pettegolezzi ed alle dicerie di corte, Maria Antonietta si rifugia nelle amicizie, come quella con la giovane principessa de Lamballe e la duchessa di Polignac, e negli svaghi raffinati. Durante una festa in maschera conosce il conte Hans Axel von Fersen, capitano delle guardie svedesi.

Nel 1774, re Luigi XV muore e Luigi Augusto e Maria Antonietta diventano i nuovi regnanti di Francia. Mentre Maria Antonietta continua il suo eccessivo stile di vita, il re si prepara a spedire aiuti alla Rivoluzione...

Plot :

Fourteen-year-old Maria Antonia (Kirsten Dunst) is the beautiful, charming, and naive archduchess of Austria, youngest of Empress Maria Theresa's (Marianne Faithfull) daughters. In 1770, the only one left unmarried among her sisters, she is sent by her mother to marry the Dauphin of France, the future Louis XVI of France (Jason Schwartzman), to seal an alliance between the two rival countries. Marie Antoinette travels to France, relinquishing all connections with her home country, including her pet Pug "Mops", and meets the King Louis XV of France (Rip Torn) and her future husband, Louis Auguste. The two arrive at the Palace of Versailles, which was built by the King's great-grandfather. They are married at once, and are encouraged to produce an heir to the throne as soon as possible; but the next day it is reported to the king that "nothing happened" on the wedding night.

As time passes, Marie Antoinette finds life at the court of Versailles stifling. Her husband's courtiers disdain her as a foreigner, and blame her for not producing an heir, although the fault really lies with her husband, for the marriage remains unconsummated for an inordinate amount of time. The French court is rife with gossip, and Marie Antoinette consistently ruffles feathers by defying its ritualistic formality. Marie Antoinette also refuses to meet or speak with Jeanne Bécu, Madame du Barry (Asia Argento), the mistress of Louis XV. Over the years, Maria Theresa continues to write to her daughter, giving advice on how to impress and seduce the Dauphin. Unfortunately, Marie's attempts to have sex with her husband fail and...

Il giovane Desmond Doss, cresciuto a Lynchburg, Virginia, è stato accudito secondo la fede della chiesa cristiana avventista del settimo giorno e ha una rinforzata credenza nel comandamento sul non uccidere da quando non ha per poco ucciso accidentalmente suo fratello minore Hal mentre lottavano per gioco. Suo padre Tom, turbato veterano della prima guerra mondiale, è profondamente irritato dalla decisione del figlio. Prima di partire per Fort Jackson, Carolina del Sud, Desmond chiede la mano a Dorothy e lei accetta di sposarlo.

TRAMA
In LOGAN, Hugh Jackman riprende il suo iconico ruolo di Wolverine per un'ultima volta in una storia a se stante, potentemente drammatica, cruda, di sacrificio e redenzione. Siamo nel 2029. I mutanti sono spariti, o quasi. Un Logan isolato e scoraggiato sta affogando le sue giornate in un nascondiglio in un remoto angolo del confine con il Messico, racimolando qualche dollaro come autista a pagamento. I suoi compagni d'esilio sono l'emarginato Calibano e un Professor X ormai malato, la cui mente prodigiosa è afflitta da crisi epilettiche sempre peggiori. Ma i tentativi di Logan di nascondersi dal mondo e dalla sua eredità finiscono bruscamente quando una misteriosa donna arriva con una pressante richiesta: Logan deve scortare una straordinaria ragazzina e portarla al sicuro. Presto Logan dovrà sfoderare gli artigli per affrontare forze oscure e nemici emersi dal suo passato in una missione di vita o di morte che porterà il vecchio guerriero su un sentiero dove compirà il suo destino.
