Trama :

Nell'anno 2067, a causa di cambiamenti climatici e ad una piaga endemica che distrugge i raccolti, le risorse naturali terrestri si stanno esaurendo velocemente. L'ingegnere ed ex-pilota della NASA Cooper vive e lavora nella sua fattoria con la famiglia, coltivando il mais, unica risorsa agricola ancora non colpita dalla piaga. La figlia Murph crede che la sua stanza sia infestata da un poltergeist che cerca di comunicare con lei. Un giorno Cooper insieme ai figli cattura un vecchio drone indiano che Cooper intende smontare per riutilizzarne alcuni componenti. Presto Cooper capisce che il "fantasma" di Murphy sta mandando un messaggio in codice usando delle anomalie gravitazionali. Usando il codice binario Cooper scopre che esse rappresentano delle coordinate geografiche e si mette in viaggio con la figlia seguendo una via che li porterà ad una base segreta di ricerca e di lancio della NASA, guidata dal professor John Brand. Il professor Brand rivela a Cooper dell'esistenza di un wormhole, apertosi vicino Saturno, che porta in un altra galassia e...

Plot :

On Earth, sometime around 2080, crop blight has caused civilization to regress into a failing agrarian society. Widowed former military pilot and NASA astronaut Cooper runs a farm with his father-in-law, teenage son, and 10-year-old daughter Murphy ("Murph" ) , who believes her room is haunted by a poltergeist trying to communicate with her by knocking books and model spacecraft off the shelves. They soon discover that Murphy's "ghost" is an unknown intelligence sending coded messages using gravitational waves. A set of binary coded coordinates in the dust directs them to a secret NASA installation.
