COMMENTO
In questo nuovo capitolo dei Mercenari Barney (Sylvester Stallone), Christmas (Jason Statham) e il resto della squadra si ritrovano faccia a faccia con Conrad Stonebanks (Mel Gibson), che anni prima aveva co-fondato Gli Expendables con Barney. In seguito, Stonebanks è diventato un trafficante di armi senza scrupoli, uno che Barney era stato costretto a uccidere ... o almeno così pensava. Stonebanks, sfuggito alla morte, ha ora come principale missione quella di eliminare Gli Expendables - ma Barney ha altri piani. Ha deciso infatti di rinnovare i membri della squadra, per combattere la vecchia guardia con giovani reclute più veloci ed esperte di alta tecnologia.
