Travelers S01e10 (2016) [WebMux Ita][A.C.U.M.]

Plot :

A team of special operatives, sent back in time from the future, are tasked with preventing the collapse of society. These operatives, known as travelers, enter the body of a 21st century individual moments before the individual's "recorded time of death". This process is referred to as a "transfer of consciousness" and cannot be used to transmit someone farther back than the 21st century. The recorded time of death is accurate to the second because of smart phones, computers, GPS, cameras, social media, and other digital pillars of the 21st century. These devices also provide knowledge of the individual who will be dying, which helps the traveler prepare for the life they will inhabit.

Without proper computing power and the back channels of the internet, the travelers would not have an accurate time of death to successfully occupy bodies moments before death. For example, the travelers cannot stop World War II, because the technology of the 1940s did not provide sufficient data to determine the exact time of recorded death, thus preventing the possession of hosts by a traveler.

The travelers must maintain their hosts' pre-existing lives to avoid attracting attention while performing missions aimed at saving the world from a series of catastrophic events. As the series progresses, changes in the present make significantly unanticipated changes in the future.

Gerusalemme, I secolo d.C. Il film prende il via quando i re magi giungono alla grotta di Betlemme per adorare il neonato Gesù. La narrazione ha quindi un salto temporale in avanti di 26 anni, quando in Giudea giunge il nuovo governatore romano Valerio Grato e, con lui, il nuovo comandante delle legioni, Messala, inviato per sopprimere le rivolte dei Giudei. Giuda Ben-Hur è un ricco principe e mercante giudeo che, per difendere il suo popolo, entra in contrasto con Messala, suo vecchio amico d'infanzia. Durante la parata di benvenuto, dalla terrazza della casa di Ben-Hur, da cui è affacciata la sorella Tirzah, cadono accidentalmente delle tegole proprio sul governatore. Accusate di aver attentato alla vita del governatore, pur sapendo della loro innocenza, Valerio Grato e Messala fanno imprigionare Tirzah e sua madre Miriam e condannano Ben Hur alla schiavitù come rematore sulle galee. Mentre Ben Hur è in cammino verso il suo destino con gli altri schiavi, il gruppo si ferma nei pressi di un pozzo....

Suor Angela, ex carcerata che ha cambiato completamente vita, dimora nel Convento degli Angeli di Modena, che rischia di chiudere per mancanza di vocazioni. Decide allora di trasformare il convento in un convitto universitario, con tanto di bar. Questa nuova situazione porta nuova linfa al convento, che diventa il punto d'incontro della più varia umanità. Suor Angela si ritrova in pratica a far da madre a tre giovani ragazze, Giulia, Margherita e Azzurra, dai caratteri (e dai problemi) completamente opposti. A questo si aggiunge il fatto che Suor Angela sfrutta il suo passato "criminale" per mettere sempre il naso nelle indagini dell'ispettore Marco Ferrari, il quale in passato ha avuto una storia con Giulia, ed è anche inconsapevolmente legato alla vecchia vita di Suor Angela.

LA STORIA
Dopo il matrimonio di Giulia e Marco nel finale di prima serie (Serena Rossi e Massimo Poggio) è tempo di nuovi incontri per Suor Angela (Elena Sofia Ricci). Il convento è diventato una famiglia allargata e apre le porte a chi si trova davanti a un bivio importante della propria vita. Suor Angela non fa miracoli ma è sempre presente quando c’è bisogno di ascoltare e non ha mai dimenticato il suo passato difficile, prima di vestire il velo.

Il primo è Guido Corsi (Lino Guanciale), un avvocato che ha abbandonato la professione in seguito ad un grave errore giudiziario ed è in crisi anche nella vita privata perché ha rotto un matrimonio che sembrava perfetto.
Per far carriera Guido ha accettato di fare da tutor nella nuova residenza universitaria del convento ma deve fare i conti col carattere impetuoso di Suor Angela che cercherà di scuoterlo dal suo torpore. Uno scossone glielo darà anche Davide (Cesare Kristian Favoino), un bambino che è stato parte in causa nel suo divorzio e ora è rimasto orfano. L'ex moglie glielo ha affidato prima di morire, ora Guido dovrà prendere una decisione che riapre una ferita mai rimarginata e potrebbe avere conseguenze imprevedibili.

A complicare la vita di Guido c’è l’uragano Azzurra (Francesca Chillemi). Come nella prima serie è una ragazza sopra le righe, capricciosa, volubile ed è ancora in cerca dell’uomo ideale... ma intanto deve mantenersi facendo la tata a Davide, un bambino cresciuto troppo in fretta. Azzurra è un concentrato di disordine, ignoranza e caparbietà. Guido, invece, è razionale, rigido, moralista. Non potrebbero essere più distanti. In realtà, grazie a Davide, potrebbero scoprire di avere in comune molto più di quanto pensino.

Fra le new entries c'è anche Nina (Laura Glavan, "Don Matteo 8&quot

, giovane avvocato cinico e perfezionista. Quand’era piccola ha visto la sua famiglia rovinata da un affarista senza scrupoli. Nina si è fatta l’idea di poter contare solo su se stessa e ha deciso di fare l'avvocato per riscattare l'ingiustizia subita, anche se non lo riconoscerebbe mai perché significherebbe ammettere di soffrire ancora.

E poi c'è Chiara (Rosa Diletta Rossi), la figlia del rettore dell’università, la più realizzata delle ragazze di suor Angela. Lavora come praticante nello stesso studio di Nina, che la vede come una raccomandata e cerca ogni pretesto per metterla in difficoltà ma dovrà presto rendersi conto che Chiara è una ragazza sveglia e determinata. La ragazza è fidanzata con Riccardo (Alessandro Borghi), un rapporto che sembra sereno ma dovrà superare molti ostacoli fino al momento in cui qualcosa cambia nell’animo di Chiara. Durante uno dei casi di cui si occupa verrà a contatto con una storia di dolore e speranza. E’ l’inizio di un percorso che la porterà a desiderare qualcosa di diverso rispetto al futuro immaginato con Riccardo. Sarà suor Angela ad aiutarla ad affrontare una scelta impegnativa che potrebbe cambiare per sempre la sua vita.

Nel convento è rimasta anche Margherita (Miriam Dalmazio), che da anatomopatologa cambia specializzazione: dovrà passare un anno in corsia a contatto con malati veri come l’atleta Emilio (Ludovico Fremont), sotto gli occhi vigili del dott. Limbiati (Luca Capuano), un fascinoso medico che scopriremo nascondere un segreto.

E soprattutto c’è la nuova missione di suor Angela: gestire una vera e propria residenza per studenti ora aperta anche ai maschi, nonostante i continui rimbrotti della Madre superiora (Valeria Fabrizi).

In ogni puntata un problema legato a uno degli ospiti diventa il tema centrale. La collaborazione tra la razionalità di Guido e l’intuito della nostra suora si dimostrerà preziosa per aiutare i ragazzi a districarsi in quella complicata sfida che è crescere e diventare adulti.

La vicenda di Spartaco Meniconi, ladruncolo con poca fortuna, è ambientata in una Roma di gente che vive alla giornata, arrangiandosi alla meglio: il nostro, senza occupazione ex detenuto con Amelia, la moglie incinta, è ospite del cognato Agenore che gli rinfaccia ogni momento la sua generosità. Ma a lungo andare i familiari lo persuadono a travestirsi da donna e ad andare in strada per guadagnarsi da vivere; anche se molto riluttante va incontro al suo destino. Ma gli va bene poiché come primo cliente incontra un casto, complessato, ricchissimo e maturo conte, Nereo, che si innamora perdutamente di Spartaco-Marina ed è disposto a sposarla, ad esaudire ogni suo desiderio ed ad offrire a lei e famiglia uno splendido appartamento al centro di Roma. La situazione per i familiari di Spartaco è molto soddisfacente, non pensano nemmeno lontanamente a tornare in miseria e a sciogliere l'incantesimo...

Nella Roma del 1830, Rugantino, giovane popolano sbruffone e millantatore, scommette con tre dei suoi amici di riuscire a conquistare la bella ed onesta Rosina, sposata con il geloso e violento Gnecco. Arrestato per aver ucciso col coltello un corteggiatore della moglie, costui ottiene, come spia del governo pontificio, di andare in esilio anzichè sotto la mannaia del boia. Della sua assenza ne approfitta Rugantino, che riesce finalmente a sgelare il cuore della bella Rosina. Informato del tradimento di costei, Gnecco rientra segretamente in Roma, per vendicarsi, ma un cospiratore liberale lo uccide durante le feste di carnevale. Del delitto viene accusato Rugantino, che, arrestato e condannato, preferisce pagare con la vita, anzichè sminuirsi agli occhi di Rosina.

In Rome in 1830, Rugantino, young populate braggart and boaster, bet with three of his friends that he will win the beautiful and honest Rosina, married to the jealous and violent Gnecco. Arrested for killing with a knife a suitor of his wife, he gets, like the papal government spy, to go into exile rather than under the ax of the Executioner. He took advantage of his absence Rugantino, who finally manages to thaw the heart of the beautiful Rosina. Informed of the betrayal of this woman, Gnecco falls secretly in Rome, to take revenge, but a liberal conspirator kills him during the carnival celebrations. The crime he is accused Rugantino, who was arrested and sentenced, prefer to pay with their lives, rather than belittle the eyes of Rosina.
