Andy decide di conservarli tutti in soffitta, ad eccezione del suo amato cowboy Woody che vuole portare con sé al college.
Per un terribile malinteso il sacco in cui il ragazzo aveva riposto i suoi pupazzi viene scambiato per quello dei rifiuti.

Ad Astra, il film diretto da James Gray, racconta la storia di Roy McBride (Brad Pitt), un ingegnere aerospaziale della NASA incaricato di compiere una missione nello spazio. Solitario, felicemente sposato con Eve (Liv Tyler) e con una leggera forma di autismo, Roy ha perso suo padre circa 20 anni prima durante una spedizione su Nettuno dalla quale non è più tornato. L'obiettivo del suo viaggio era portare a compimento il progetto Lima, basato sulla ricerca di vita extraterrestre.
Tuttavia, anziché cercare forme di vita intelligenti, Clifford McBride (Tommy Lee Jones), che secondo nuove prove potrebbe essere ancora vivo, conduceva (e forse ancora conduce) esperimenti con materiale classificato in grado di distruggere l'umanità e compromettere per sempre l'intero sistema solare.
Dopo essere sopravvissuto per miracolo a una caduta dallo spazio, il governo si rivolge a lui convinto che sia l'unica persona in grado di aiutarli a invertire il processo di distruzione - già in atto sulla terra - denominato il "picco": una letale onda d'urto che causa incendi in tutto il pianeta, guasti tecnologici e incidenti aerei. Incaricato di smantellare il progetto di suo padre e salvare il mondo dalla catastrofe, l'audace Roy parte dunque alla volta di Nettuno alla ricerca di indizi sul fallimento della missione paterna. Ma a volte, le risposte che cerchiamo rischiano di essere troppo oltre la nostra portata. Mentre affronta la missione infatti, l'astronauta finirà per rivelare alcuni segreti che mettono in dubbio l'esistenza dell'umanità e il suo posto nell'universo...

TRAMA

TRAMA
Nella cittadina di Locust Harbor, Bird Fitcher è una studentessa liceale un po' complessata, con ancora le scorie di un grave trauma infantile. Appassionata di fotografia, riceve in regalo dall'amico Tyler una vecchia macchina fotografica Polaroid, che fa le foto a sviluppo istantaneo. Bird è entusiasta del regalo e per provare la macchina scatta una foto di Tyler. La sera, andando a una festa in costume, Bird nota che nella foto che ha scattato all'amico c'è qualcosa di strano.
Timida e rinunciataria, alla festa Bird se ne sta come sempre in disparte. A sorpresa, però, Connor, il ragazzo che le piace, le si avvicina e si dimostra amichevole. Bird scatta una polaroid a lui e ad altri amici. Ma l'arrivo della polizia getta un'ombra sulla festa: lo sceriffo Pembroke convoca Bird per comunicare che Tyler è stato trovato morto. Anche nella foto presa alla festa sembra esserci qualcosa di strano: un'ombra minacciosa. Bird comincia a capire che nella Polaroid alberga qualcosa di micidiale. Chi viene fotografato è destinato a una sorte orribile e per salvarsi Bird e i suoi amici fotografati dovranno cercare di capire da chi difendersi e come.

Trama

Sarah e la sua amica Linda ritrovano nell’attico di casa una scatola contenente una vecchia Polaroid SX-70. Nel momento in cui Sarah rimane sola, succede qualcosa che inizia a spaventarla: rumori improvvisi dalla macchina fotografica, scricchiolii, visioni raccapriccianti e la presenza di un’ombra misteriosa. Si susseguiranno una serie di omicidi fino a quando lo spirito intrappolato nella polaroid non riuscirà a vendicarsi e porre fine al disegno indiscriminato di morte e distruzione.
