Nel 1982 cinque amici di infanzia decidono di mettere a segno quello che in seguito sarebbe stato definito il crimine del secolo. Il

loro obiettivo è il sequestro di Freddy Heineken, erede dell’impero della birra e uno degli uomini più ricchi al mondo. Cor van Hout,

leader del gruppo e grande stratega, elabora un piano audace per sequestrare il miliardario e chiedere il più grande riscatto mai

pagato per un ostaggio. Nei titoli finali del film Freddy Heineken sarebbe morto nel 2003 (invece è morto nel 2002).




The film takes place in 1983, primarily in Amsterdam and centres on a group of five Dutch friends: Willem Holleeder, Cor van Hout,

Jan Boellard, Martin Erkamps and Frans Meijer. Looking for easy money, they decide to kidnap the Heineken owner and tycoon

Freddy Heineken to achieve a very high ransom. Although capturing Heineken and his driver Ab Doderer successfully, the group

eventually faces difficulties due to their lack of experience in crime. They fail to negotiate with the police, and Cor feels it is his

duty to take care of his pregnant wife, Sonja. After Heineken is finally released by the police, Willem and Cor flee to Paris, where

they plan to remain hidden. However, Cor experiences strong emotions to phone call Sonja, a dangerous action that could easily

reveal their location to the police tracing. He is initially reluctant and has arguments with Willem, but ultimately gives in to his

feelings and calls Sonja, resulting in Cor and Willem being arrested by the French police while leaving their apartment. According

to the final headline Freddy Heineken died in 2003 (he died in 2002).

Trama

The Big Bang Theory è una sitcom statunitense trasmessa da CBS dal 2007.
Ideata da Chuck Lorre e Bill Prady, e interpretata principalmente da Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons e Kaley Cuoco, la serie racconta in maniera ironica le vicende quotidiane di un gruppo di giovani scienziati, e di come la loro condizione di nerd e geek ne influenzi i rapporti con il mondo circostante.

A Londra, Ewan è un agente dei servizi segreti britannici, segnato dal lutto per la prematura morte di sua moglie e inaridito dalla

violenza che il suo lavoro gli comporta.

Scortando Harry, un produttore di armi che si sta recando in banca con una valigetta contenente Semtex, è assalito da due uomini

armati che aprono il fuoco seminando il panico tra la folla. Ewan uccide uno dei due ma non riesce ad impedire che l'altro, Ash,

uccida Harry e trafughi la preziosa valigetta. Subito dopo l'esplosivo è consegnato ad un altro ragazzo che, indossato un

giaccone imbottito con lo stesso, si fa esplodere in un affollatissimo ristorante londinese causando una strage.



Harry (Sam Douglas), an English arms dealer, is seen in bed with a prostitute named Rena (Shivani Ghai). While toying with

Harry's pistol, she unloads it but replaces the empty magazine. Harry's bodyguard Ewan (Sean Bean) is an English Secret Service

Agent. Harry and Ewan travel to a bank, transporting a briefcase of Semtex. The men are followed by two terrorists, Ash (Abhin

Galeya) and Ibrahim (Mens-Sana Tamakloe). Ibrahim approaches Harry and Ewan from the top of a staircase, shooting at them.

After Ash shoots Ewan twice, Harry tries to shoot Ash, only to discover there are no bullets in his gun. Ash kills Harry and takes

the briefcase of Semtex. However, Ewan manages to shoot Ash in the arm; but, before he can apprehend him, Ash returns fire and

escapes with the briefcase.

TRAMA
Gloria Bell, il film diretto da Sebastián Lelio, remake americano del suo film cileno del 2013, vede protagonista con l'attrice Premio Oscar Julianne Moore nei panni di Gloria Bell, una donna di cinquant'anni con due figli ormai adulti e un divorzio alle spalle. Nonostante la routine e la solitudine di tutti i giorni, Gloria non ha nessuna intenzione di smettere di godersi la vita e di credere all'amore, tra notti di balli sfrenati nei club di Los Angeles e amanti passeggeri.
Durante una di queste serate, incontra Arnold (John Turturro): tra i due nasce una passione inaspettata, che li travolgerà con tutte le sue gioie e, soprattutto, le sue complicazioni. Ma per Gloria Bell, in fondo, nulla è insuperabile finché si può continuare a ballare. Nel cast del film troviamo anche anche Michael Cera, Sean Astin e Alanna Ubach.
