A medical resident finds that being a zombie has its perks, which she uses to assist the police.

Olivia "Liv" Moore (Rose McIver) è una brillante studentessa di medicina che vive a Seattle. La vita di Liv scorre tranquillamente fino alla notte in cui verrà trasformata in zombie.

Il passaggio allo stato di ‘non morto’ non è stato facile da accettare ma determinata a continuare la sua vita nel modo più normale possibile ha cercato di mimetizzarsi al meglio nel mondo degli umani.

Come primo passo ha lasciato il suo fidanzato Major (Robert Buckley) per cercare di proteggerlo dagli effetti collaterali della sua nuova condizione e in seguito ha trovato lavoro in un obitorio, alle dipendenze del dottor Ravi Chakrabarti (Rahul Kohli), nel quale potesse cibarsi dei cervelli dei cadaveri senza identità.

Ma la nuova dieta di Liv le provoca degli effetti collaterali: quando consuma materia cerebrale ha delle visioni, dei flashback della memoria del proprietario del cervello e ne acquisisce anche le abilità.

Incoraggiata dal suo capo, ormai a conoscenza del suo segreto, Liv deciderà di collaborare con la polizia e con il detective Clive Babineaux (Malcolm Goodwin), come “sensitiva”, per risolvere casi intricati e insoluti riguardanti i cadaveri che transitano nel suo obitorio.

Non manca lo “zombie cattivo”: Blaine DeBeers (David Anders), che ha graffiato Liv durante la festa e che si scopre poi essere stato uno spacciatore divenuto zombie a causa della sua stessa droga. Blaine vuole allargare la sua cerchia di non-morti e procurare loro cervelli di bassa qualità a prezzi esorbitanti.

Il secondo capitolo della serie si apre tre mesi dopo la sconfitta di Blaine da parte di Liv, che lo ha fatto tornare umano con la cura anti-zombie. Vediamo Blaine, che ora ha il dono di individuare gli zombie, gestire un’impresa di pompe funebri per continuare a fornire cervelli ai propri clienti.

Liv continua ad usare i suoi poteri per risolvere omicidi ma deve fare i conti sia con alcuni problemi venutisi a creare con la madre e il fratello a causa della sua condizione ancora sconosciuta alla famiglia, sia con un nuovo nemico, la Max Rager, società sotto indagine che produce bibite dagli effetti collaterali devastanti e che fa esperimenti sugli zombie.

"iZombie" è una serie televisiva statunitense del 2015, creata da Rob Thomas e Diane Ruggiero-Wrigh, che trae spunto dall’omonima serie di fumetti di Chris Roberson e Michael Allred. Nel cast troviamo anche: Bradley James (Lowell Tracey), Aly Michalka (Peyton Charles), Molly Hagan (Eva Moore) e Steven Weber (Vaughn Du Clark).

Re Artù viaggia per l'Inghilterra cercando di reclutare i cavalieri per la sua tavola rotonda di Camelot. Senza neanche un cavallo trova Lancillotto, Galahad e tutti gli altri: a quel punto Dio in persona lo incarica di ritrovare il Sacro Graal.

Allo spettatore di Monty Python & il Sacro Graal bastano i primi minuti del film per avere un’idea del genere di comicità che lo aspetta. S’inizia con i titoli di testa…tutto ciò che segue è se possibile ancora più folle e surreale.Re Artù e i suoi cavalieri trotterellano per tutto il tempo in groppa a cavalli immaginari; nel loro viaggio alla ricerca del Graal incontrano i più grotteschi e assurdi avversari, da un uomo con tre teste a soldati con improbabile accento francese. La trama è ovviamente piuttosto sconclusionata, ma non è che un pretesto per mettere in scena le più folli gag. Nella più pura tradizione del nonsense inglese, ricca d'illustri precedenti, la loro comicità ha il pregio di essere sempre originale e saper cogliere di sorpresa lo spettatore.
Come sempre nei loro film i 6 Pythons fanno tutte le parti, anche se questa volta quelle femminili sono affidate ad attrici vere. Non mancano le scene musicali, particolarmente gustose, in particolare la canzone cantata dai menestrelli di sir Robin e quella dei cavalieri di Camelot.

Curiosità: Nello script originale alla fine i cavalieri riuscivano a trovare il Graal da Harrods.

Dire Straits were a British rock band that formed in Deptford, London, in 1977 by Mark Knopfler (lead vocals and lead guitar), his younger brother David Knopfler (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), John Illsley (bass guitar and backing vocals), and Pick Withers (drums and percussion). Dire Straits' sound drew from a variety of musical influences, including jazz, folk, and blues, and came closest to beat music within the context of rock and roll. Despite the prominence of punk rock during the band's early years, their stripped-down sound contrasted with punk, demonstrating a more "rootsy" influence that emerged from pub rock. Many of Dire Straits' compositions were melancholic.

Dire Straits' biggest selling album, 1985's Brothers in Arms has sold over 30 million copies, and was the first album to sell a million copies on the then new compact disc (CD) format. They also became one of the world's most commercially successful bands, with worldwide record sales of over 100 million. Dire Straits won four Grammy Awards, three Brit Awards—winning Best British Group twice, two MTV Video Music Awards, and various other music awards. The band's songs include "Money for Nothing", "Sultans of Swing", "So Far Away", "Walk of Life", "Brothers in Arms", "Private Investigations", "Romeo and Juliet", "Tunnel of Love", "Telegraph Road", and "Lady Writer".

According to the Guinness Book of British Hit Albums, Dire Straits have spent over 1,100 weeks on the UK albums chart, ranking fifth all-time. Their career spanned a combined total of 15 years. They originally split up in 1988, but reformed in 1991, and disbanded for good in 1995 when Mark Knopfler launched his solo career full-time. There were several changes in personnel over both periods, leaving Mark Knopfler and John Illsley as the only two original bandmates who remained throughout the band's career.

Trama

Da 9 racconti di Raymond Carver. Nella sua mescolanza di generi e di toni questo grande capitolo della saga americana di Altman è una commedia umana dove si può trovare di tutto, come nella vita. Come Carver – di cui sviluppa i racconti, modificandoli e allacciandoli l'uno all'altro – il regista non interviene a commentare i fatti: si limita a raccontarli con lucidità, dolente partecipazione e una libertà che lascia allo spettatore la possibilità del giudizio.
Si apre con un minaccioso volo di elicotteri e si chiude con una scossa di terremoto a Los Angeles, dove si svolgono le storie.
C'è chi ha trovato quest'affresco troppo amaro, impietoso, disperato. Altman non ha bisogno di alzare la voce per fare l'apocalittico.

Christian Wolff, un genio matematico che ha più affinità con i numeri che con le persone, lavora sotto copertura in un piccolo studio come contabile freelance per alcune delle più pericolose organizzazioni criminali del pianeta. Nonostante abbia la Divisione anti-crimine del Dipartimento del Tesoro alle costole, Christian accetta l'incarico di un nuovo cliente: una società di robotica dove una delle contabili ha scoperto una discrepanza nei conti di milioni di dollari. La serie segue le vicende della squadra dell'NCIS distaccata a New Orleans. Guidata dall'agente speciale Dwayne Cassius Pride, è composta anche dall'agente speciale Christopher LaSalle e dalla neo-arrivata agente Meredith Brody, avvalendosi dell'assistenza del tecnico di laboratorio Sebastian Lund e del medico legale Loretta Wade.


TRAMA
La squadra NCIS di Los Angeles vede come uomo di punta G. Callen (neanche lui sa cosa significhi questa "G", visto che nessuno ha mai potuto dirglielo, essendo orfano), un enigmatico agente famoso per il suo talento nel ricoprire incarichi sotto copertura.
Nelle indagini è affiancato dall'agente speciale Samuel "Sam" Hanna, ex Navy SEAL della United States Navy che lavora nell'unit?  di sorveglianza speciale; parla correntemente l'arabo ed è un esperto di cultura mediorientale.
Fanno parte della squadra anche lo psicologo Nate, l'investigatrice forense Kensi, e l'agente di collegamento con la polizia Marty Deeks.

La storia si svolge nel 1962 e ha come protagonisti Juliana Crain, Joe Blake, e Nobusuke Tagomi.

Juliana Crain è una giovane donna che vive a San Francisco insieme al fidanzato Frank. Un giorno, mentre torna a casa, Juliana incontra la sua sorellastra Trudy che le affida una bobina chiamata "La cavalletta non si alzerà più". Nella bobina è contenuto un video che mostra gli Alleati sconfiggere la Germania e il Giappone. Trudy viene in seguito uccisa dalla polizia giapponese e Juliana frugando tra i suoi effetti personali, scopre che era diretta a Canon City, nello Stato delle Montagne Rocciose. Juliana decide quindi di recarsi a Canon City per scoprire la verità.

Joe Blake è un ragazzo di 27 anni che vive a New York. È una spia nazista che lavora per l'Obergruppenführer John Smith. Joe entra in contatto con alcuni membri della resistenza, che gli affidano un carico da trasportare a Canon City; arrivato a destinazione, Joe scopre un vano segreto sotto il camion, nel quale è contenuta una copia de "La cavalletta non si alzerà più".

Nobusuke Tagomi è il ministro del commercio giapponese che lavora a San Francisco. Preoccupato dalla situazione politica tra Germania e Giappone, Tagomi incontra segretamente l'ufficiale nazista Rudolph Wegener per discutere del futuro dei due paesi una volta che Adolf Hitler sarà morto. Le due potenze si trovano in una pericolosa situazione di tensione, ma Wegener è fermamente convinto che il successore di Hitler non si farà alcuno scrupolo ad usare la bomba atomica contro il Giappone al fine di ottenere il controllo sugli Stati Americani del Pacifico.

Trama

Liberamente ispirata ai personaggi della tradizione russa, Masha e Orso racconta le avventure della ragazzina vivace, intelligente, testarda e dall'energia inesauribile. Masha abita ai margini del bosco e attraverso un sentiero, va a trovare il suo amico, Orso. Orso vive nella sua casa dentro un albero dove, quando non c’è Masha, conduce una vita tranquilla e confortevole. Orso adora il miele, sa leggere e scrivere ed è abile nei giochi di prestigio. Masha è curiosa ed entusiasta di ogni scoperta e novità e con la sua intraprendenza finisce spesso per combinare guai. Orso sopporta i suoi capricci e pone sempre rimedio alle sue marachelle. Masha adora Orso e lui la ricambia con grande affetto, seppur talvolta cerchi di tenerla lontana o impegnata per avere un attimo di tranquillità, si mostra sempre paziente e protettivo e quando lei non è in giro, lui ne sente la mancanza.
