The terrorists are defeated and a call comes in for another fire.

Il professor Bellavista nutre una vera antipatia per Cazzaniga, anche se lo vede solo raramente e di passaggio, ma ugualmente gli attribuisce la colpa di tutto quello che gli dà fastidio.

I due vivacchiano di scommesse e di gioco, finché un giorno davanti alla loro casa non viene abbandonato un bambino negro. Dopo i primi tentativi di disfarsene, i due finiscono per affezionarsi a lui e cominciano a preoccuparsi della sua educazione, e Franco, addirittura, vende la macchina.

Alberto and Franco share the premises of a "children's home" that has been uninhabited for some time; Alberto, who grew up there, continues to disguise himself as a nun to make the house believe that he is still active, while Franco dude and heartbreaker, spends all the money he has (and even those he has not) to maintain his luxurious car. The two live off betting and gambling, until one day a negro child is abandoned in front of their house. After the first attempts to discard them, the two end up becoming attached to him and begin to worry about his education, and Franco even sells the car.

Un portiere e uno spazzino, incuriositi dal passaggio della cometa di Halley, ottengono dal prof. Bellavista di dare un'occhiata al cielo dal suo telescopio. Ma anzichè inquadrare la cometa, inquadrano una finestra dell'appartamento di fronte e credono di scoprire un delitto. Partono all'istante alla ricerca del cadavere, ma trovano maccheroni e manichini. Non i quindi possibile sporgere denuncia, ma neppure rinunciare alla curiosità. Così gli improvvisati detective esplorano l'intero quartiere fino a scoprire che il cadavere è ... vivo. E' la signora Jolanda, salita in casa di amici a far assaggiare i maccheroni. Più l'appiccico - a soggetto - di un venditore i rosei rifugi antiatomici.

A porter and a street sweeper, intrigued by the passage of Halley's comet, get from prof. Bellavista to take a look at the sky from her telescope. But instead of framing the comet, they frame a window of the apartment opposite and believe they discover a crime. They start instantly looking for the corpse, but find macaroni and mannequins. It is therefore not possible to file a complaint, but neither to give up curiosity. So the improvised detectives explore the entire neighborhood until they discover that the corpse is ... alive. It is Signora Jolanda, who has gone up to her friends to try macaroni. The rosy shelters are more subject to the stickiness of a salesperson.

Francesco è un simpatico giovanotto toscano, abile giocatore di biliardo, tanto da riuscire a battere lo Scuro, un campione più volte nazionale e imbattuto; dapprima Francesco chiede di giocare senza soldi, ma lo Scuro insiste e alla fine si troverà travolto da perdite tali da costringerlo a impossessarsi del contante che i clienti dell'albergo nel quale lavora tengono in deposito nelle cassette. The two fall in love, but in the meantime Francesco loses a big amount of money playing versus 'Scuro', the long-time Italian champion.
