This remarkable album was recorded in 1970, at/with Muscle Shoals.
You know all the Shoals alumni, they're all here on the record, and, funny, they don't sound a'TALL like they did with Wilson Pickett - which is NOT to be interpreted as a "slap," they're just displaying what consumate, remarkable musicians they are.
If, for nothing else though, track #5, where Herbie tears into the Beatles' "Come Together" - oh, man, just dig how future Weather Report bassist Miroslav Vitous locks in with Shoals' own bassist-extraordinare David Hood - this is the only, I mean the ONLY time where a Beatles' song has been "covered" by another artist, and the new bass part isn't an insult to Paul McCartney.

TRAMA
La serie, ispirata alla vita del giocatore di football professionista Spencer Paysinger, racconta la storia di Spencer James (Daniel Ezra), ragazzo di un quartiere povero di Los Angeles con la passione per il football. Stella dello sport, viene reclutato da un liceo di Beverly Hills proprio grazie alla sua bravura. TRAMA
Celeste, Jane e Madeline sono tre amiche e madri che vivono a Monterey e sono alle prese con i piccoli e grandi problemi della vita quotidiana e delle amicizie, che vere amicizie non sono. Madeline, madre di Chloe e Abigail e moglie di Ed, soffre perché la figlia maggiore sta crescendo a fianco della nuova compagna dell'ex marito Nathan, Bonnie. Jane è una ragazza madre con un trauma alle spalle da superare, mentre Celeste subisce gli abusi e le violenze del marito. Le loro vite vengono scosse da un omicidio, avvenuto durante una festa di beneficenza per i genitori nella scuola frequentata dai loro figli.

Trama:

Cassie Blake è una teenager che, dopo la morte della madre Amelia, si trasferisce dalla nonna Jane a Chance Harbor, la cittadina abbandonata dalla madre molti anni prima. Qui i suoi nuovi amici, Diana, Adam, Faye, Melissa e Nick, le spiegano di appartenere ad un'antica cerchia di streghe, il "circolo segreto". Anche se incredula, Cassie prende atto dei suoi poteri e diventa molto potente. Il circolo inizia a scoprire cose spaventose su demòni e sulla magia nera. La prima conseguenza è la morte di Nick. Ad uccidere il ragazzo è il padre di Diana, Charles Meade, che lo affoga nel lago per uccidere il demonio che era in lui. La complice dell'uomo è Dawn Chamberlain, preside della scuola e madre di Faye, e i due sono intenzionati a riavere i poteri che erano stati tolti loro dagli Anziani.
Dopo la morte di Nick, arriva in città Jake Armstrong, suo fratello maggiore. Il ragazzo è un cacciatore di streghe ed il suo obiettivo principale è distruggere il circolo. Quando però sostituisce Nick all'interno del circolo, il ragazzo si innamora di Cassie e decide di abbandonare i cacciatori. Questi ultimi non si arrendono e a Chance Harbor giunge in aiuto John Blackwell, il padre di Cassie dal quale la ragazza ha ereditato la magia nera. L'uomo vuole proteggere il circolo dalla magia che si sono procurati i cacciatori di streghe. Il nemico incontrollabile è Eben, che, dotato di grandi poteri, ha in progetto di eliminare tutte le streghe. Cassie si trova coinvolta in un triangolo amoroso, essendo desiderata sia da Jake che da Adam.
