otre-Dame de Paris tells the story of Quasimodo, the hunchback bell-ringer of the cathedral of Notre-Dame and of his impossible and tragic love for Esmeralda, a beautiful gypsy. A love condemned by injustice and hypocrisy. Quasimodo forced by his ugliness to look at the world from the top of a tower one day he falls madly in love with Esmeralda who sees dancing and singing on the square in front of the cathedral. But Esmeralda is in love with Febo, the handsome captain of the King's guards. Febo is engaged to Fiordaliso, a young and rich bourgeois, but the exotic and sensual beauty of the gypsy does not leave indifferent the man who immediately falls in love with her. Even Frollo, the archdeacon of the cathedral, is attracted to the gypsy and spying on the moves of the two lovers in a raptus of jealousy and repressed carnal desire to get rid of his rival stabs Febo behind him. Esmeralda is arrested on charges of attempting to kill the captain of the guards and thrown into prison. Frollo taking advantage of the situation offers freedom to the woman in exchange for her body. Esmeralda horrified refuses the offer. Quasimodo frees Esmeralda and hides it in his tower. But Clopin, a friend of Esmeralda and his protector, misunderstanding the intentions of Quasimodo attacks the cathedral, putting himself at the head of a revolt, to free the beautiful gypsy. In an attempt to quell the revolt Phoebus and his men set fire to the cathedral and kill Clopin. Poor Quasimodo, believing that Febo wants to free Esmeralda, gives the woman to Frollo, who in turn delivers her to the guards. For Esmeralda it's the end. In reality, Febo wants the death of the gypsy because this is the only way to marry her rich girlfriend. Quasimodo after witnessing the hanging of his beloved realized the betrayal of the archdeacon mad with rage throws Frollo from the tower

The story behind Detective James Gordon's rise to prominence in Gotham City in the years before Batman's arrival.

'Gotham' darà molte soddisfazioni ai fan di Batman nella sua quinta e ultima stagione.
In aggiunta a un Jeremiah (Cameron Monaghan) sempre più simile a Joker e a una Selina (Camren Bicondova) diventata in tutto e per tutto Catwoman, si possono ammirare nella loro intera gloria Harley Quinn (Francesca Root-Dodson) e Bane (Shane West). Bane in particolare, che inizieremo a conoscere come 'Eduardo Dorrance', sarà una presenza prominente in una Gotham City ormai ostaggio della criminalità. Tuttavia, Jim (Ben McKenzie) capirà ben presto che le sue reali intenzioni sono di gran lunga più oscure di quanto ha voluto fargli credere. Nel frattempo, il giovane Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) è lanciato verso la trasformazione ultima nel vigilante che tutti conosciamo e amiamo. E su questo ci sono pochi dubbi.

TRAMA
Ad Approdo del Re, dopo essersi liberata da tutti i suoi nemici nella capitale e aver perso anche l'ultimo dei suoi figli, la nuova Regina dei Sette Regni Cersei Lannister – affiancata da suo fratello Jaime, Qyburn e Ser Gregor Clegane – valuta un'alleanza con il nuovo Re delle Isole di Ferro Euron Greyjoy e Casa Tarly. A Grande Inverno, il Re del Nord Jon Snow – consigliato da Sansa Stark e Davos Seaworth – si prepara allo scontro con il Re della Notte e la sua armata di Estranei e non-morti, mentre gli giunge notizia dell'arrivo a Roccia del Drago di Daenerys Targaryen, supportata dagli Immacolati, i Dothraki, Tyrion Lannister, Ellaria Sand, Yara e Theon Greyjoy, Olenna Tyrell, Varys e Melisandre di Asshai. Il terribile e ferocissimo bandito El Diablo, per nascondere l'oro che ha rubato da una banca, decide di fonderlo e trasformalo in un carro.
Dopo averlo "mimetizzato per bene", s'incammina verso il rifugio più vicino. Durante il tragitto, però, i due ladri di cavalli Franco e Ciccio
gli rubano, con uno stratagemma, il suo carro e, ignorando l'identità del derubato, ma soprattutto il valore del carro, provano a rivenderlo
ad un gruppo di amici. Quando vengono raggiunti da El Diablo questi, più arrabbiato che mai, tenta di strangolarli. Per loro fortuna arriva
anche l'esercito e El Diablo, temendo di essere riconosciuto, rivela ai militari che El Diablo è morto per merito dei due furfanti. Franco e
Ciccio diventano allora famosi in tutto il west, mentre El Diablo tenta di rientrare in possesso...
