Don Matteo S04 Anno 2004

Trama:Il protagonista, don Matteo Bondini, è il parroco della chiesa di San Giovanni di Gubbio, poi trasferito a Spoleto dalla nona stagione. Grazie all'amicizia e alla collaborazione con il maresciallo Nino Cecchini riesce a intrufolarsi nei casi dei Carabinieri, e li risolve grazie ad un indizio decisivo, che arriva molto spesso per intuizione innata e alla sua ampia conoscenza dell'animo umano. Don Matteo è gentile e disponibile verso tutti e mostra una straordinaria capacità amorevole verso le persone coinvolte nel caso, anche nei confronti degli assassini. Le sue intrusioni non sono, però, molto gradite al capitano della locale caserma dei Carabinieri, il capitano Flavio Anceschi prima e il capitano Giulio Tommasi poi: questi cercano di tenerlo lontano dalle indagini, ma alla fine riconoscono sempre la bravura del sacerdote.

Quasi tutte le puntate hanno una trama abbastanza schematica:

1. in paese avviene un fatto misterioso lontano dagli occhi dei protagonisti, a volte non è mostrato;
2. l giorno dopo (o poco tempo dopo) si mostrano le conseguenze di questo fatto: il ritrovamento di un cadavere, la sparizione di una persona o di un oggetto...
3. alcune delle persone coinvolte sono in qualche modo legate a Don Matteo, che quindi si trova sul luogo del delitto poco prima dei Carabinieri;
4. viene inizialmente arrestato un sospetto, ma Don Matteo non crede alla sua colpevolezza;
5. i Carabinieri e Don Matteo indagano parallelamente: quest'ultimo dà delle dritte al maresciallo Cecchini;
6. mentre a Don Matteo viene in mente un particolare importante, i Carabinieri trovano l'indizio schiacciante contro il colpevole;
7. il colpevole confessa tutto a Don Matteo, e i Carabinieri lo arrestano.

Sydney, un anziano giocatore d'azzardo, mentre sta per entrare in una tavola calda trova John seduto per terra e lo invita a bere qualcosa. John ha bisogno di 6.000 dollari per il funerale della madre, Sydney gli offre un passaggio in auto a Las Vegas, quando arrivano in un casinò Sydney gli insegna qualche trucco per racimolare un po' di soldi.

Due anni dopo siamo a Reno e ritroviamo John che ormai è un giocatore professionista. Clementine è una cameriera del casinò che per arrotondare occasionalmente si prostituisce, una sera va nella stanza di Sydney ma lui non è interessato ad avere un rapporto sessuale. Il mattino dopo conosce John col quale sembra esserci buon feeling. Una notte John chiama Sydney perché ha bisogno di aiuto, quando arriva nella stanza del motel nella quale si trova insieme a Clementine scopre che i due tengono in ostaggio un uomo che si era rifiutato di pagare a Clementine la cifra concordata per una prestazione, la donna aveva chiamato John che dopo averlo aggredito e ammanettato al letto chiama la moglie chiedendole di portare i soldi. In questa vicenda è coinvolto anche Jimmy, un amico di John che si occupa della sicurezza interna del casinò, il quale gli presta una pistola scarica. Dopo una discussione viene fuori che John e Clementine si sono sposati quel pomeriggio, Sydney li convince che devono scappare, dopo essersi assicurato che i due non sono stati visti da nessuno, oltre che dall'ostaggio, cancella le impronte digitali e fa sparire la pistola.

Mentre John e Clementine sono diretti verso le cascate del Niagara per la loro luna di miele, Jimmy chiede a Sydney di incontrarsi per poter parlare e dirgli che l'uomo preso in ostaggio non è andato dalla polizia, successivamente Jimmy fa intendere che lui è a conoscenza di alcuni fatti del passato criminale di Sydney quando viveva ad Atlantic City: Sydney sparò al padre di John uccidendolo. Jimmy ricatta l'anziano il quale gli consegna i suoi risparmi. Sydney però ha in serbo una vendetta, infatti una notte attenderà Jimmy in casa sua e lo ucciderà.

Questa è la storia della banda della Magliana. Una storia di malavita che sembra davvero un romanzo, ma questo però non è un romanzo. E non solo perchè i fatti che raccontiamo sono accaduti davvero, ma perchè nei romanzi sopratutto nei romanzi gialli quando le storie finiscono tutte le domande hanno più o meno una risposta. La banda della Magliana invece resta un mistero italiano.

This is the story of the Magliana band. A story of underworld that really looks like a novel, but this is not a novel. And not only because the facts we tell have really happened, but because in the novels especially in the mystery novels when the stories end all the questions have more or less an answer. The Magliana band instead remains an Italian mystery.

Al principio Chato si limita a lasciare tracce evidenti in modo da condurre i suoi inseguitori in una zona inospitale. Poi comincia a decimare le loro risorse d'acqua e a far fuggire i loro cavalli. Ma quando i bianchi violentano sua moglie, il pellerossa, per vendicarsi, comincia ad ucciderli ad uno ad uno, mentre gli altri si eliminano a vicenda perché divisi da violenti contrasti tra di loro.

New Mexico, 1873. Chato, a redskin, is forced to flee after killing, in self-defense, a white sheriff who had provoked him. In his pursuit, some men led by Quincey Whitmore, an ex-southern official, and then by the ferocious Jubal Hooker who kills Quincey, not considering him quite ruthless. At the beginning Chato limits himself to leaving evident traces in order to lead his pursuers in an inhospitable area. Then he begins to decimate their water resources and flee their horses. But when the whites raped his wife, the Indian, to take revenge, begins to kill them one by one, while the others are eliminated from each other because they are divided by violent contrasts between them.

Tra i clienti c'è anche un pugile in ritiro. Il ragazzo, Pericle Caciotta, si innamora di una cameriera, perderà l'incontro per cui si stava preparando, ma troverà un lavoro "alternativo" alla boxe. Ma nel Grand Hotel Excelsior molte altre storie si intrecciano fino a quando tutti i principali protagonisti si troveranno insieme per festeggiare i 50 anni dell'albergo.

An interweaving of events of all kinds characterizes life at the Grand Hotel Excelsior. The owner, Taddeus, demanding with the servants and reserved with the customers, will end up marrying Ilde Vivaldi, a beautiful girl who will also try to commit suicide. There is also a retired boxer among the customers. The boy, Pericle Caciotta, falls in love with a maid, will lose the meeting for which he was preparing, but will find an "alternative" work to boxing. But in the Grand Hotel Excelsior many other stories are intertwined until all the main protagonists will be together to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the hotel.

Infatti suo padre Paolo è un cialtrone matricolato, marito bugiardo e eternamente infantile. Suo figlio Luca dovrà tamponare i buffi guai che il genitore combina a ripetizione e fare "da padre a suo padre". A legare il tutto come sempre le avventure goliardiche e spensierate del gruppo di amici che stavolta si trova ad affrontare le prime complicate prove della vita. Protagonista del film, come già accaduto nel primo episodio, la musica e le canzoni pop che sono la colonna sonora della nostra vita.

Luca (Nicolas Vaporidis) is grappling with a new love story. In fact, he meets Azzurra (Carolina Crescentini), an extroverted marine biologist who is a little bigger than him who drags him on crazy urban adventures. A romantic pull and spring that leaves you breathless until the final. But even at the home of Luca the situation is complicated. In fact, his father Paolo is a matured salesperson, a liar and an eternally childish husband. His son Luca will have to stop the funny troubles that the parent combines repeatedly and "from father to father". To tie everything as always the goliardic and carefree adventures of the group of friends that this time is facing the first complicated trials of life. The protagonist of the film, as already happened in the first episode, the music and pop songs that are the soundtrack of our life.

The New Year's Concert in Vienna has been a glorious tradition for over six decades. A best-selling classical event, the concert has a unique global appeal. It has been broadcast on TV and radio to over 50 countries, and is viewed by tens of millions of people all over the world. The 2008 New Year's Day Concert will be conducted by the eminent conductor Georges Prêtre, the first French conductor to receive this honor. The concert program for January 1, 2008 will be the customary collection of Strauss delights, but this time with a French theme. Receiving its first performance at a New Year's Concert, Napoleon March op. 156 by Johann Strauss II will open the program. The traditional encores of Blue Danube Waltz and Radetzky March will be joined by the Sport Polka as a nod to the European Football Championship to be held in Vienna in 2008. The Summer Olympics in Beijing is also being saluted by the orchestra with an early work of the elder Johann Strauss, his exotically colored Chinese Gallop.

E' un viaggio melanconico e intenso; le memorie di una donna sopravvissuta ai suoi eroi e ai suoi ideali si rianimano al contatto con il paesaggio americano. Nel passo, negli occhi, nella voce di Fernanda si ritrova la forza di una fede mai spenta nella letteratura e nella poesia.

The journey of Fernanda Pivano who returns to America, to places dear to her, to find the friends of a lifetime. Many are no longer there, like Ginsberg, Kerouac and Ernest Hemingway, of whom the Pivano visits the tomb for the first time. Someone has resisted, like Lawrence Ferlinghetti, someone has added like Jay McInerney, Barry Gifford, Bret Easton Ellis, writers of the new generations for whom Fernanda has become a myth. It is a melancholic and intense journey; the memories of a woman who survived her heroes and her ideals revive themselves in contact with the American landscape.
