Spider-Man: Homecoming è un film del 2017 diretto e co-scritto da Jon Watts.
Dopo la battaglia di New York, Adrian Toomes guida una squadra di operai per ripulire la città, ma le loro operazioni vengono interrotte dal Dipartimento di Stato del Damage Control. Furiosi per aver perso il lavoro, Toomes e i suoi uomini decidono di tenere la tecnologia dei Chitauri in loro possesso e usarla per creare armi da vendere sul mercato nero. Otto anni dopo, in seguito al suo incontro con gli Avengers, Peter Parker riprende gli studi presso la Midtown School of Science and Technology, nell'impaziente attesa della sua prossima missione.
