Il Trono di Spade (Game of Thrones) e` una serie televisiva statunitense di genere fantasy creata da David Benioff e D.B. Weiss, che ha debuttato il 17 aprile 2011 sul canale via cavo HBO. È nata come adattamento televisivo del ciclo di romanzi Cronache del ghiaccio e del fuoco (A Song of Ice and Fire) di George R. R. Martin.

La serie racconta le avventure di molti personaggi ed e` ambientata in un grande mondo immaginario costituito principalmente dal continente Occidentale (Westeros) e da quello Orientale (Essos). Il centro più grande e civilizzato del continente Occidentale e` la città capitale Approdo del Re, dove si trova il Trono di Spade dei Sette Regni. La lotta per la conquista del trono porta le più potenti e nobili famiglie del continente a scontrarsi o allearsi tra loro in un contorto gioco di potere, che coinvolge anche l'ultima discendente della dinastia regnante deposta. Trama:

Alle Torri Gemelle, Arya Stark – con il volto del deceduto Walder Frey – organizza un banchetto e avvelena tutta la famiglia Frey con un brindisi. A rimanere in vita è solo Kitty Frey, ultima moglie di Walder.

Oltre la Barriera, un'armata di Estranei e non-morti avanza verso sud. Tra le truppe vi sono anche tre giganti non-morti. Meera Reed e Bran Stark, invece, arrivano stremati al tunnel di Castello Nero e trovano Edd ad accoglierli.

Clary Fray è una ragazza perfettamente normale: studentessa alla Brooklyn Academy of Art, vive con la madre Jocelyn nel loro umile appartamento di New York e passa le sue giornate tra l'arte e il migliore amico Simon Lewis. Il giorno del suo diciottesimo compleanno, però, Clary passa la serata al Pandemonium Club, dove assiste a un omicidio che nessun altro - eccetto lei - riesce a vedere. Quando torna a casa, viene attaccata da un demone, ma il ragazzo che aveva visto poco prima al Club, Jace Wayland, la salva. Jace è uno Shadowhunter, metà umano e metà angelo che protegge i Mondani (persone appartenenti al mondo degli umani) dai demoni, e, quando si scopre che anche Clary è una di loro, Jace, insieme ai compagni cacciatori Isabelle e Alec, la aiuta a scoprire se stessa. Clary deve comprendere il prima possibile il potenziale che c'è in lei per poter sconfiggere Valentine Morgenstern, l'uomo più ricercato nel mondo degli Shadowhunter e dei Nascosti, che fino a poco tempo prima si credeva morto ma che ora vuole ottenere la Coppa Mortale, uno strumento che gli permetterà di creare nuovi Shadowhunters che lo aiuteranno a sterminare i Nascosti.

L'aguzzino non ha il coraggio di compiere l'ordine e lascia libera Biancaneve che si rifugia nel bosco. Accolta dagli animali selvatici, Biancaneve si rifugia nella casetta dei Sette Nani che, dopo lo stupore iniziale, decidono di ospitarla come fosse una di loro. Ma la Regina, scoperto che Biancaneve è ancora viva, si trasforma magicamente in una vecchia e, arrivata nella casetta in mezzo al bosco, offre alla fanciulla una mela avvelenata. Al primo morso, Biancaneve cade morta. I Nani la depongono in un'urna di cristallo e la vegliano. Qualche tempo dopo, un Principe a passeggio nel bosco, trova Biancaneve nell'urna e, incantato dalla sua grazia, la bacia, risvegliandola. La Regina cattiva viene così sconfitta e Biancaneve e il Principe vissero per sempre felici e contenti.

Guardiani della Galassia 2 è il sequel dell'originale e scanzonato cinecomic diretto da James Gunn. Già dal titolo, che ammicca all'Awesome Mixtape #2, si capisce che è tempo di capovolgere la musicassetta vintage e scoprire il lato nascosto dei protagonisti del film che ha dato inizio al franchise. Il gruppo di eroi atipici e alieni singolari, più che Guardiani della galassia, svogliate sentinelle dello spazio, si tuffa in una nuova avventura per scoprire l'identità del padre di Peter Quill/Star-Lord (Chris Pratt), lo spavaldo ladro spaziale incastrato suo malgrado nel ruolo di leader della sgangherata banda. Al fianco dell'impudente Star-Lord, a ranghi sciolti, tornano la bella e letale Gamora (Zoe Saldana), lo spietato Drax (Dave Bautista), l'irascibile Rocket (voce originale di Bradley Cooper) e ridotto a dimensioni bonsai l'indisciplinato, scattante Baby Groot (con la voce originale di Vin Diesel). La storia segue l'evoluzione individuale di ciascun componente e il faticoso processo di consolidamento come gruppo e nucleo familiare, cui si vanno aggiungendo nuovi personaggi, nemici redenti e parenti scomodi saltati fuori dai più remoti anfratti dell'universo. Tra gli interpreti del film troviamo anche Michael Rooker nel ruolo di Yondu, Karen Gillan in quello di Nebula, mentre Sean Gunn torna a interpretare Kraglin. Il cast include inoltre Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, Chris Sullivan e Kurt Russell nei panni di Ego, il padre di Peter Quill.

La casa di produzione Boccia Film è in grave crisi: ha un solo caricatore di pellicola e Fabio, il titolare, vuole a tutti i costi realizzare un cortometraggio. Nell'impresa coinvolge gli amici Massimo - patito di realismo - ed Eugenio, che invece adora il cinema americano.
