Sam si risveglia svenuto nell'Impala e, non vedendo suo fratello, inizia a cercarlo per poi trovarlo in un campo lì vicino. Dean rivela al fratello di aver avuto un colloquio con l'oscurità che ha preso apparentemente la forma di una donna in un abito nero; inoltre Dean aggiunge che lei lo ha ringraziato per averla liberarata. Durante la via del ritorno, i fratelli incontrano uno sceriffo di nome Jenna Nickerson ferita gravemente e la portano nell'ospedale più vicino dove avranno un primo assaggio dei poteri pericolosi dell'Oscurità: incontreranno infatti degli uomini nei quali viene alla luce la loro oscurità interiore, portandoli ad essere rabbiosi ed aggressivi. Durante la fuga i due fratelli si dividono: Dean dovrà proteggere e portare in salvo Jenna e una neonata, Amara; mentre Sam rimarrà in ospedale a combattere dove verrà ben presto infettato.

Nel novembre 1942 Adolf Hitler, durante una riunione alla Tana del Lupo di Rastenburg, assume Junge come sua segretaria.
Il 20 aprile 1945, durante la battaglia di Berlino, un bombardamento d'artiglieria sveglia Traudl, la collega Gerda Christian e la cuoca Constanze Manziarly nella loro stanza del Führerbunker. Hitler viene informato dal generale Wilhelm Burgdorf e poi da Karl Koller che Berlino è sotto attacco e che l'Armata Rossa è avanzata fino ad arrivare in un raggio di 12 chilometri dal centro della capitale. Al ricevimento del cinquantaseiesimo compleanno del Führer, il Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler e il suo aiutante generale Hermann Fegelein cercano invano di convincere il dittatore a lasciare la città, ma Hitler rifiuta. Himmler cerca di negoziare i termini di resa con gli Alleati occidentali all'insaputa di Hitler. Intanto, in un'altra parte della capitale, un gruppo di membri della Gioventù hitleriana stanno rafforzando le difese. Peter, uno dei membri, viene sollecitato dal padre a disertare, ma rifiuta ostinatamente.

Trama :

Fra il 2005 ed il 2015 il Regno Unito e gran parte del resto del mondo hanno attraversato una fase bellica ed un periodo socio-politico instabile, con proteste civili che sfociavano spesso in guerriglie urbane. Nel 2015 un partito nazionalista, ? riuscito a ottenere un largo consenso, utilizzando la paura come catalizzatore, organizzando attentati biologici (attribuiti a sedicenti "terroristi" ), vincendo le elezioni politiche con successo; Adam Sutler si ? fatto nominare Alto Cancelliere, instaurando un regime dittatoriale e totalitario, che perseguita gli oppositori politici e le minoranze (musulmani, ebrei, neri, omosessuali, ecc.).

Altri membri importanti del partito sono Peter Creedy, a capo della polizia segreta, che ambisce per? a diventare il nuovo dittatore; Lewis Prothero, influente anchorman soprannominato "la Voce di Londra"; Dascombe, capo redazione della pi? importante emittente televisiva del Paese, e infine Eric Finch, ispettore capo della polizia di Londra che, seppur membro di "Fuoco Norreno" da ventisette anni, non ne condivide pienamente i metodi. Nel 2019 la Gran Bretagna ? dunque stabilmente governata da un regime repressivo che tiene sotto scacco...

Plot :

In the late 2020s the world is in turmoil, with the United States fractured as a result of prolonged conflict, and a pandemic of the "St. Mary's Virus" ravaging Europe. The United Kingdom is ruled as a fascist police state by the Norsefire Party. Political opponents, immigrants, Muslims, homosexuals and other "undesirables" are imprisoned in concentration camps. On November 4, a Guy Fawkes-masked vigilante who identifies himself as "V" rescues Evey Hammond, a woman who works at the state-run British Television Network (BTN), from an attempted rape by members of the "Fingermen" secret police while she is out past curfew. He leads her to a rooftop to watch his destruction of the Old Bailey criminal court building, accompanied by fireworks and the 1812 Overture. Inspector Finch, Scotland Yard's chief of police, is given the task of investigating V's activities, while the Party uses the BTN to declare the incident an "emergency demolition", although V takes over the broadcast to claim responsibility. He urges the people of Britain to rise up against their government...

Introduzione:

Shinzo, noto in Giappone come Mushranbo (??????? Mashuranb??), è un anime giapponese del 2000, edito in Italia dalla Fox e nel contenitore Fox Kids. Si ambienta in un futuro dove creature note come Enterran hanno preso il controllo della Terra rinominandola Enterra. Qui tre Enterriani devono proteggere l'ultima umana per restaurare la razza umana. L'anime si concentra principalmente sulle avventure che affrontano mentre si impegnano per portare a termine questo compito.

Trama:

La storia è ambientata in un lontano futuro. Mentre la razza umana sembra ormai estinta, la Terra è stata conquistata da esseri creati geneticamente. In un simile scenario, tutte le speranze del genere umano sono affidate all'unica sopravvissuta, Yakumo, una ragazza di 15 anni.Suo padre, uno scienziato, decide, così, di addormentarla, ibernandola per 50 anni. In realtà, la macchina del lungo sonno funziona male e Yakumo resta adormentata per 500 anni.
Quando Yakumo si sveglia, il suo compito è raggiungere Shinzo, il luogo magico dove si racchiude tutta la speranza di pace per gli umani.
Yakumo nel suo viaggio è accompagnata da tre grandi amici. Si tratta di Mushra, Sago e Kutal, tre Enterrans buoni capaci di mutarsi in Hyper Enterrans. Non solo: i tre guerrieri possono fondersi in un unico super-guerriero chiamato Mushrambo, l'ultimo dei samurai...

Per combattere anche sintomi di depressione, è solito rifugiarsi nell'universo immaginario della sua serie di libri preferita, Fillory and Further, una saga la cui storia di svolge in un fantastico universo parallelo a quello reale, Fillory, con similitudini con il mondo di Narnia. La sua vita viene stravolta quando viene invitato ai test di ammissione di una prestigiosa quanto segreta scuola di magia, l'unica in Nord America, il Brakebills College for Magical Pedagogy. Ai test, insieme a Quentin, viene invitata anche la sua migliore amica Julia, che tuttavia non riesce a superarli. Quentin si ritrova quindi a frequentare la scuola, dove si avvicina in particolare a Alice Quinn, una ragazza proveniente da una famiglia di rinomati maghi che si è iscritta per scoprire quanto avvenuto al fratello, presumibilmente morto mentre frequentava la stessa struttura. A Brakebills apprende presto non solo che la magia è reale, ma anche che lo è il mondo di Fillory, dal quale proviene una grave minaccia per l'umanità intera. Nel frattempo Julia, che non si arrende all'idea di rinunciare al mondo della magia, viene reclutata da un'associazione segreta di stregoneria.

Walter Zarrow, professore di filosofia, viene ferito durante una rapina. Nel tentativo di scappare, si ritrova tra le braccia di Sam, un padre di mezza età in città per una relazione.
