Gianni e Beatrice sono una giovane coppia fresca di matrimonio: lui ambisce a una brillante carriera nella società alberghiera dove lavora, lei conduce con disinvoltura una trasmissione radiofonica di successo. Il loro sogno di avere un bambino si concretizza molto presto, ma porta con sé turbamenti considerevoli: sbalzi di umore, stravolgimenti ormonali, inevitabili intrufolamenti di parenti, preoccupazioni per il futuro. Tutto si modifica. I cambiamenti fisici e psicologici della coppia, l’alimentazione, le paure, spese, il sesso, le continue visite, l'abbigliamento. Cosa bisogna fare? I due sposini affronteranno la nuova condizione spaesati nella "commedia" che questo lieto evento genera. Beatrice, seguendo anche in parte i consigli materni, scandaglierà il mondo intorno a sé con dovizia quasi maniacale per proteggere la gravidanza. Gianni, invece, si rifugerà nei consigli di Sergio, il ginecologo di sua moglie, dispensatore di consigli e rassicurazioni. Le vicende di Gianni e Beatrice si incroceranno con i dubbi e le aspirazioni di un'altra coppia, questa volta composta da due donne, Anna e Tina. Sono fidanzate e affrontano con serenità la loro vita omosessuale. Anche le due donne vorrebbero godere l'emozione della gravidanza, ma la "tematica" è spinosa...
Tra divertenti gag, sussulti d’umore, batticuori notturni e fraintendimenti riguardo il sesso del nascituro, la storia di Gianni e Beatrice si legherà a doppio filo con quella di Anna e Tina.

Trama:
Twin Peaks, nota anche come Twin Peaks: The Return, è una serie televisiva statunitense del 2017 creata da Mark Frost e David Lynch. Si tratta di un sequel della serie televisiva I segreti di Twin Peaks, trasmessa tra il 1990 e il 1991 pertanto è stato fatto riferimento a essa anche come "terza stagione di Twin Peaks".
La serie è stata sviluppata e scritta da Frost e Lynch nel corso di diversi anni ed è diretta interamente da Lynch. Ambientato nel XXI secolo Ghost in the Shell è in superficie un thriller di spionaggio futuristico che segue le imprese del maggiore Motoko Kusanagi, membro della Nona Sezione, una squadra speciale di operazioni in incognito della Commissione nazionale di pubblica sicurezza giapponese specializzata nel combattere crimini legati alla tecnologia. Sebbene tecnicamente sia pari grado agli altri membri, Kusanagi ricopre il ruolo di leader della squadra e viene solitatamente chiamata maggiore a causa del suo passato rango nelle forze armate. È in gran parte robotizzata, un cervello umano in un corpo artificiale capace di imprese sovrumane e specializzata per il suo lavoro.

L'ambientazione di Ghost in the Shell è distintivamente cyberpunk o postcyberpunk, simile a quelle della Trilogia dello sprawl dello scrittore di fantascienza William Gibson, sebbene l'opera di Shirow sia maggiormente focalizzata sulle ramificazioni etiche e filosofiche della fusione tra l'umanità e la tecnologia. Gran parte degli uomini sono collegati alla rete, a cui possono accedere non soltanto mediante terminali fisici, ma soprattutto attraverso impianti situati nel loro stesso cervello. Diversi uomini sono diventati cyborg, ovvero esseri in parte organici in parte robotici. Quello che differenzia un cyborg integrale da un robot è la presenza di un cervello umano e del Ghost, ovvero dell'anima, qualcosa di intrinseco e inspiegabile che permette agli uomini di "sentire" sensazioni particolari. Il Ghost è l'istinto non mediato dai calcoli. Lo sviluppo dell'intelligenza artificiale ed un'onnipresente rete computerizzata sono il palcoscenico per la rivoluzione dell'identità umana e della unicità di sé stessi. In particolare il manga affronta direttamente queste problematiche: Kusanagi ed i suoi colleghi devono affrontare minacce esterne così come soffrire conflitti interni dovuti alle loro proprie nature.

Reid, Darrin e Ben sono tre amici stretti che sono teorici avidi di cospirazione. Il fascino di Reid con l' attività extraterrestre si accorge ulteriormente quando ininterrottamente svanisce nel mezzo di una festa e non ha memoria della sua scomparsa. A lui si aggiunge Darrin, Ben e Jelena, un altro teorico di cospirazione il cui padre ha lavorato all'Area 51. Intendono infiltrarsi nella base militare usando segnali di scossa, occhiali da vista , tuta in Freon e pillole per mascherare i livelli di ammoniaca.
