Il film racconta dell'operato della DIA dopo l'attentato a Capaci in cui persero la vita Giovanni Falcone, Francesca Morvillo e la scorta. Paolo Borsellino e il questore Cardine organizzano una nuova squadra operativa che deve arrivare a scoprire gli esecutori della strage di Capaci. Si affidano ad Anna Granata e Angelo Branca, che seguono i mafiosi Nino Noè e Gino Guarnera. Intanto, però, anche Borsellino viene ucciso.

Dopo vari pedinamenti, i carabinieri della squadra del capitano Ultimo, arrestano il boss Totò Forte sembra che tutta l'operazione debba fallire. La squadra però continua a lavorare, scopre il nascondiglio di Noè e Guarnera, li spia e ottiene i nomi degli esecutori della strage: assieme a loro, viene arrestato Santino che era presente alle stragi contro i due giudici. Questi si pente, a dispetto di Noè (che s'impicca dopo aver scritto una lettera nella quale rifiutava di disonorare Cosa nostra) e di Guarnerà. Grazie alle dichiarazioni di Santino, quindi, la DIA riesce ad arrivare a pedinare i due capi-famiglia Barone e Spina. Dopo vari appostamenti e pedinamenti nei quali emergono difficoltà non indifferenti, finalmente i due mafiosi vengono consegnati alla giustizia: Barone verrà arrestato il 24 maggio 1995 a Palermo, mentre Spina sarà catturato il 20 maggio 1996 ad Agrigento dopo essere stato intercettato telefonicamente dagli uomini della DIA. Le immagini della sua traduzione al carcere saranno successivamente trasmesse in TV in diretta con gli uomini della DIA che esultano per il suo arresto.

Heima (Icelandic at home) is a documentary film and double DVD set about the tour around Iceland in the summer of 2006 of the band Sigur RÛs. During the tour the band played two big open-air concerts at Miklat?n - ReykjavÌk (30 July) and ¡sbyrgi (4 August), as well as small scale concerts at ”lafsvÌk (24 July), Õsafjˆr?ur (26 July), Dj?pavÌk (27 July), H·ls, ÷xnadalur (28 July) and Sey?isfjˆr?ur (3 August). In addition, a protest concert against the K·rahnj?kar dam was performed at SnÊfellssk·la (3 August). The documentary also includes footage of an acoustic concert played for family and friends at Gamla Borg, a coffee shop in the small town Borg, on 22 April 2007.

The documentary premiered in Iceland at the ReykjavÌk International Film Festival opening day, 27 September 2007. Heima was released 5 November 2007 (4 December in North America) in two editions, one including atmospheric photos in a photobook documenting the tour.

The DVD has sold 5,000 copies in Canada earning it a Gold Award under the Video Certifications.

Trama

Lai Tiu-Fi e Ho-Po Wing sono innamorati quando lasciano la natìa Hong Kong per recarsi in Argentina.

Fox William Mulder è un singolare agente dell'FBI: lavora in un settore chiamato appunto X-Files, un archivio dove vengono catalogati e raccolti tutti i casi ritenuti inspiegabili. Mulder deriva la sua ossessione dal traumatico rapimento della sorella, avvenuto (a suo dire) a causa degli alieni, quando l'agente aveva l'età di 12 anni. Il poster appeso nell'oscuro ufficio di Mulder, divenuto uno dei simboli della serie, riporta la memorabile scritta "I Want to believe" - Io Voglio Credere. Mulder cerca infatti di dare spiegazioni e raggiungere la verità prestando fede a prove e testimonianze ritenute "impossibili" o prive di credito da parte dei suoi colleghi e della comunità accademica. All'inizio della serie gli viene affiancato un partner dai suoi superiori, Dana Katherine Scully, medico e scienziata che utilizzando le sue competenze scientifiche avrebbe il compito di screditare le bizzarre tesi di Mulder. In realtà con il passare del tempo anche lei si troverà di fronte a fatti in grado di scuotere le sue certezze e la sua fede nella scienza ufficiale.

Mentre Mulder si nasconde e Scully viene riassegnata all'accademia dell'FBI, Reyes diventa il nuovo partner di Doggett all'unità X-Files. Doggett, Scully e Reyes scoprono una cospirazione che mira a diffondere cloramina nelle acque, in grado di dar vita a mutazioni e creare Super Soldati. Raggiungono un laboratorio clandestino dove si stanno conducendo esperimenti che coinvolgono anche William. La loro indagine è però ostacolata dal vice direttore Alvin Kersh e da Brad Follmer.[80][81] Scully spera di ricongiungersi con Mulder dopo che uno sconosciuto, l'uomo ombra, si offre di aiutarla. Tuttavia, Mulder e Scully rimangono quasi uccisi quando l'uomo ombra si rivela essere un Super Soldato.[82] Più tardi, Scully, Doggett e Reyes individuano una pericolosa setta UFO che ha trovato la nave spaziale in Africa. La setta rapisce William,[83] ma viene sterminata quando il suo pianto attiva le armi della nave che uccidono tutti senza colpire il bambino.[84]

In seguito, Doggett trova uno strano uomo sfigurato nell'ufficio dell'X-Files. Inizialmente crede sia Mulder, ma si rivela poi essere il suo fratellastro, Jeffrey Spender. Spender ha poi l'occasione di infilare un ago in William; gli altri agenti credono lo abbia infettato con un virus ma in realtà si tratta di una cura per i poteri del bambino.[85] Mulder esce allo scoperto per cercare informazioni in una base militare e, dopo essersi scontrato con l'apparentemente indistruttibile Super Soldato Knowle Rohrer, ne sarà accusato dell'omicidio e sottoposto a processo. Con l'aiuto di Kersh, Scully, Reyes, Doggett, Spender, Covarrubias e Gibson Praise, Mulder fugge. Mulder e Scully vanno poi nel Nuovo Messico per trovare un vecchio "uomo saggio", che si rivela essere l'uomo che fuma, il quale profetizza loro l'arrivo degli alieni per il 22 dicembre 2012. Doggett e Reyes aiutano Mulder e Scully, la quale aveva nel frattempo deciso di affidare il figlio in adozione, a sfuggire all'FBI; i due sono poi visti per l'ultima volta insieme in un motel di Roswell, destinati a fronteggiare un incerto futuro.
